The LiuGong Intelligent International Industrial Park project is one of the major projects in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Since construction began in November 2022, the LiuGong Excavator Smart Factory and the Zhongyuan Hydraulics New Factory have been completed and put into operation one after another.

At present, the LiuGong New Energy Intelligent Global Innovation Center, Phase I of the Excavator Intelligent Construction Test Site, and the overall relocation and renovation project of Weixiang Company are under vigorous construction and have successively entered key milestones. Phase I of the Intelligent Construction Test Site of the Excavator Smart Factory Successfully Completed

On August 19, Phase I of the construction project of the Intelligent Construction Test Site of the LiuGong Excavator Smart Factory successfully passed completion acceptance and was delivered. Located opposite the south gate of the Excavator Smart Factory, the project covers a steel-structure comprehensive mechanical testing shed with a building area of nearly 900 square meters, a disassembly and heavy-duty workshop of more than 6,900 square meters, as well as a fueling island and test site roads. It is a core project in LiuGong's effort to build a globally leading R&D and validation platform for excavators.

The project is equipped with advanced testing equipment and an intelligent management system, capable of simulating various complex construction environments and providing comprehensive and accurate data support for product R&D. This will greatly shorten the product R&D cycle, improve product quality, further complete the "R&D—testing—mass production" chain, and significantly enhance the core competitiveness of LiuGong excavators in the global construction machinery market.

Construction of the LiuGong New Energy Intelligent Global Innovation Center in Full Swing

As a sub-project of the LiuGong Intelligent International Industrial Park, the LiuGong New Energy Intelligent Global Innovation Center has a total building area of nearly 60,000 square meters and will be built into a new engine for driving technological innovation and green development in the construction machinery industry. At present, works in multiple areas of the center, including the south building, north building, outdoor landscape and basement, are progressing smoothly, with the goal of meeting relocation conditions before National Day.

It is reported that the center's decoration is designed and constructed in accordance with LEED Platinum certification, integrating and applying multiple technologies such as energy-saving intelligent office lighting systems, intelligent conference systems, workstation management and rainwater recycling systems across three aspects—intelligence, green environmental protection and human-centered design—to achieve intelligent office and energy-saving and environmentally friendly management.

Weixiang Company's Overall Relocation and Renovation Project Advancing at Full Speed

Weixiang Company's overall relocation and renovation project is part of the supporting projects of the LiuGong Intelligent International Industrial Park. Upon completion, it will mainly produce construction machinery components such as cabs and cover parts. The project has a total building area of approximately 79,000 square meters, including a components plant, an assembly and painting plant, and a comprehensive office area. As of early August, 85% of the project's steel structure main body has been completed, with more than 200 workers on site working at full capacity to ensure construction progress. The plant main structure is expected to be topped out in late September and to pass completion acceptance by the end of November.

Through the construction of the Intelligent International Industrial Park, LiuGong will achieve the electrification, intelligence and digitalization of its product and manufacturing systems, accelerate innovation in new products and new technologies, expand production scale, improve the working environment, raise labor efficiency, and achieve economic goals such as growth in industrial output value, building a benchmark smart manufacturing park for China's construction machinery industry.
