On August 14, 2025, the Prefabricated Pile and Prefabricated Component Observation and Exchange Meeting of the Standardization (Subgrade) Professional Technical Committee of the China Railway Society was successfully held at Hubei Sanhe Pipe Pile Co., Ltd. Attendees includedthe Sichuan-Tibet Office of China Railway Group, Sichuan-Tibet Railway Company, Qinghai-Tibet Railway Company, Lanzhou Railway Bureau Group Company, Economic Planning Institute Company, China Academy of Railway Sciences Group Company, China Railway Design Corporation, the First, Second, Fourth and Fifth Survey and Design Institutes of China Railway, China Railway Engineering Design Consulting Group, China Railway Shanghai Design Institute, Southwest Jiaotong University, Tongji University, Harbin Institute of Technology, Central South University, the First, Third and Twelfth Engineering Bureaus of China Railway, and the Wuhan Institute of Rock and Soil Mechanics of the Chinese Academy of Sciencesand other industry leaders and experts; all members of the Standardization (Subgrade) Professional Committee of the China Railway Society;Sanhe Pipe PileLiu Bin, head of the Product Planning Department and chairman of Sanhe Central China Supply Chain Company, Li Long, director of the R&D Center of Sanhe Pipe Pile, and Cui Hongtao, head of the Marketing Departmentand others。The meeting conducted in-depth discussions on the application of prefabricated piles and prefabricated components in railway subgrade engineering, and participants conducted on-site observation of the advanced production processes and technical achievements of the Sanhe Pipe Pile Hubei Base.

Centered on the theme of "Innovative Application and Development Trends of Prefabricated Piles and Prefabricated Components in Railway Subgrade Engineering," this exchange meeting brought together top expertise in the railway engineering field. At the start of the event, a carefully produced promotional video led participants into the manufacturing world of Sanhe Pipe Pile and Sanhe Components. From precise production processes to rigorous quality control, and from craftsmanship to technological breakthroughs, it comprehensively demonstrated Sanhe's deep accumulation and innovative achievements in the prefabrication field, leaving the guests full of anticipation for the exchanges to follow.

Subsequently, Liu Bin, head of the Product Planning Department of Sanhe Pipe Pile and chairman of Sanhe Central China Supply Chain Company, delivered a welcome speech. In his remarks, he said: "Our corporate vision is to become 'a leader in the national concrete prefabricated products industry and an important participant in the global green building materials industry.' This 'ambition' is supported by the spirit of 'harmony across the world, carrying the future.' We hope that through this exchange, we can engage in deep cooperation with design and research institutes and universities, focus on the application of prefabricated piles and prefabricated components in complex subgrade structures, overcome difficulties, jointly build a platform for industry-university-research practice, jointly promote scientific and technological achievements, and drive innovative development of the industry."

The innovation of prefabricated pile technology cannot be achieved without the dual drive of research and development and practice. At the meeting, Li Long, director of the R&D Center of Sanhe Pipe Pile, presented a special report titled "R&D and Application of Prefabricated Piles in Different Projects," systematically demonstrating the breakthroughs and potential of prefabricated pile technology, from the optimization of technical parameters to the analysis of complex engineering cases, and from railway subgrades to bridges and buildings across multiple application scenarios. Detailed data and vivid cases gave participants a deep appreciation of the key role of prefabricated piles in improving engineering safety, durability and economic efficiency.

During the tea break, guests stopped to exchange views at the product model display area, closely observing the detailed craftsmanship of prefabricated piles and components, and held in-depth discussions with the Sanhe technical team on technical challenges.

 Afterwards, guided by the staff, participants put on safety equipment and visited the Sanhe Components workshop and the pipe pile workshop for on-site observation. From the precise forming of prefabricated components to the standardized production of pipe piles, the guests personally experienced the strength of Sanhe's manufacturing and exchanged views with technical personnel from time to time, creating a lively atmosphere on site.

This exchange meeting was a vivid practice of industry-university-research integration.
