On the northern Tibetan Plateau at an altitude of 4,700 meters, as the wind turbine blades precisely docked with the nacelle, the first wind turbine of the Tibet Kaifa Seni District Quguo Gamu 200MW wind power project was successfully hoisted. This project is a key supply-guarantee project of the autonomous region for 2024 and currently the largest wind power project under construction in Tibet, with a total installed capacity of 200 megawatts. Once completed, the project is expected to generate more than 436 million kilowatt-hours of on-grid electricity annually, equivalent to saving 131,500 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 359,400 tons each year.
