In August 2025, Shenzhen was hit by a once-in-a-decade torrential rainstorm. Sustained heavy rainfall turned many urban areas into "flooded lands," and waterlogging emergencies kept escalating. In such extreme weather, SANY pile machinery service engineers Liu Wei and Liang Erhu in the Shenzhen region staged an emergency repair race against time and against the rainstorm.

That day, service engineer Liu Wei received an urgent call from a customer: a machine in Longgang District had suddenly shut down in a foundation pit. At that time, the rain was pouring down. Although the project department had mobilized six machines to drain water at full capacity, the water level in the pit was still rising, and the equipment was at risk of being submerged at any moment. Once an accident occurred, the losses would be incalculable.

After learning the situation, service engineers Liu Wei and Liang Erhu immediately drove off, struggling 50 kilometers along severely flooded roads before finally reaching the site. The scene was alarming: the water level in the pit had already reached more than 1.5 meters, and most of the equipment was submerged. The situation was critical.

"It must be repaired as soon as possible!" That was the only thought in Liu Wei's mind. He quickly put on a life jacket and, led by the customer, resolutely stepped into shoulder-deep water, stumbling step by step toward the faulty equipment. The rain kept beating against his face, and the icy water soaked through his clothes, but he paid no attention, focusing intently on troubleshooting, disassembling components, and replacing parts... Every movement was difficult in the water, yet always precise and efficient.

Time passed minute by minute, and the rain showed no sign of weakening. Liu Wei worked continuously for four hours in shoulder-deep water. Rain mixed with sweat ran down his cheeks, and his hands turned pale from soaking in the cold water, but he stayed at his post until the equipment roared back to normal operation—the fault had been successfully cleared!

Looking at the restarted equipment, the customer said excitedly: "The fault was handled so efficiently! You truly care about what our customers care about. Without your timely repair, this machine would probably have been ruined, and the loss would have been immeasurable. Thank you so much!"

In the wind and rain, Liu Wei demonstrated the promise of "service first" with professionalism and responsibility, and made SANY's service spirit shine even brighter in the rainstorm.
