On August 13, the Zhongshi Zhongke 48-Class Primary School, built by the Fifth Bureau of Sinohydro (Hydropower Bureau 5) as part of its Nanjing area projects, passed completion acceptance.

The Zhongshi Zhongke 48-Class Primary School project is located in the core area of the Baixiang district of Xianlin Sub-city, with a total construction area of 53,314 square meters. The school has a scale of 6 tracks and 48 classes, accommodating 2,160 students. The campus consists of an all-weather sports hall, a modern cafeteria, staff dormitories, teaching buildings, a multi-functional lecture hall, and a cutting-edge STREAM center. Sports facilities include a 400-meter, six-lane standard track and field ground, 3 basketball courts, 3 volleyball courts, and 1 standard football pitch. The underground space provides 344 motor vehicle parking spaces and 455 non-motor vehicle parking spaces, combining parking and civil air defense functions.

Since the start of construction, in response to multiple challenges including a tight schedule, limited working space, complex geological conditions, intensive interleaving of mechanical and electrical processes, and strict environmental protection standards, the Nanjing project department of the Fifth Bureau of Sinohydro has tackled the difficulties with quality and safety as the core, standardization as the guide, and high efficiency as the goal. By establishing a "daily coordination, weekly scheduling, monthly assessment" mechanism to work backward from the schedule, and relying on BIM technology to achieve three-dimensional collaborative optimization of construction plans across all disciplines. At the same time, it proactively engaged with the community to collect public feedback, strictly implemented Nanjing's "Eight Compliance Standards, Two Commitments, One Public Disclosure" requirements, introduced dust monitoring equipment, carried out high-frequency watering for dust suppression, strictly controlled nighttime construction, and minimized environmental disturbance. Ultimately, it efficiently completed the construction tasks at all key milestones, achieving both quality and safety and civilized construction standards.

After the Zhongshi Zhongke 48-Class Primary School is put into use, it will comprehensively improve the quality of education in the area and inject momentum into education. As a key support for Nanjing Economic and Technological Development Zone's deepening of "industry-city integration," it is not only an important lever for optimizing urban functions, but also a core engine empowering high-quality development.
