On August 12, SEPCO III held a celebration for reaching eight million safe man-hours at the Rabigh Phase IV Seawater Desalination EPC Project in Saudi Arabia. The event was attended by all project personnel, including the owner's team, the project EPC team, and subcontractors.
At the celebration, the owner comprehensively reviewed the full-staff fulfillment of duties throughout the project's advancement, highly praised the project's sustained high-standard, all-round, and all-staff commitment to safety management, presented the project team with a certificate for eight million safe man-hours, and gave full recognition and sincere thanks for the team's achievements. The project manager presented certificates to outstanding safety management individuals who emerged during project construction, encouraging all participating personnel to keep up their efforts, earnestly implement safety management requirements, serve as their own safety officers, continuously set new records for safe production man-hours on the project, and maintain good safety management standards through to the project's commercial operation.
The project is located in Rabigh on Saudi Arabia's Red Sea coast, adjacent to the Rabigh Phase III Seawater Desalination Project. With a daily water output of 600,000 cubic meters, once completed it can provide basic domestic water to more than three million households and pilgrims in major Saudi cities such as Jeddah, Mecca, and Medina.
This eight-million safe man-hour celebration not only affirms the project's safety management achievements but also serves as an important opportunity for the project team to further strengthen safety awareness. In the future, the project team will continue to uphold the core concept that "safety comes first," deeply promote safety culture, continuously optimize the HSE control system, and strive to create a sound atmosphere in which "everyone talks about safety, everything is done for safety, safety is on everyone's mind at all times, and safety is ensured everywhere," building a solid safety barrier for the smooth advancement of the project and ensuring that this livelihood project benefits the Saudi people at an early date.
