Since August 7, continuous heavy rainfall in Yuzhong County and other areas of Lanzhou, Gansu Province has triggered flash flood disasters. After the disaster struck,Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the State, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, attached great importance to the situation and issued important instructions, stating that the top priority is to make every effort to search for and rescue missing persons, relocate and resettle threatened residents, minimize casualties, and restore communications and transportation as soon as possible.
The disaster situation is urgent
The XCMG emergency rescue team immediately activated
the emergency rescue plan
in coordination with the Armed Police transportation forces and others
working with local dealers and customers
to urgently deploymore than 10 excavators and loader equipment
to carry out rescue and relief work on the front line
Nearly 20 rescue team members and XCMG service personnel
along with dealer employees, stayed on site throughout
providing equipment maintenance and logistical support to ensure rescue equipment operates efficiently 24 hours a day
XCMG excavators are working at full capacity to repair Provincial Road 104 in Yuzhong County, the fastest main road from Yuzhong county town to the heart of the worst-hit Xinglong Mountain area.
In the severely affected Xinglong Mountain area, flood erosion has severely blocked village roads.8 XCMG excavators are working around the clock on road clearance operations, opening up safe passages for rescue teams and material transport. In the mud, the efficient and stable performance of XCMG equipment has become the "mainstay" of the rescue site.

In Xiaokangying Township, heavy rainfall has caused mud and silt to pile up on roads, seriously affecting disaster relief progress.2 XCMG excavators immediately joined the desilting battle, working with local rescue forces to quickly restore traffic and ensure the smooth flow of the "lifelines" in the disaster-stricken areas.

Even more moving is that local XCMG excavator customers voluntarily and spontaneously went deep into the disaster area to participate in on-site rescue, working together with the XCMG rescue team to repair roads and fighting through the night, contributing to their hometown's efforts to overcome the disaster. While deploying professional equipment , XCMG's caring convoy, loaded with urgently needed supplies such as bottled water and bread, set off at the same time providing dual protection and building a warm defense line for the disaster area "We will not withdraw until the flood recedes!"XCMG workers are racing against time, conveying a heartwarming strength through professionalism and dedication.
