On July 31, the first batch of the Zhongtang 70+80 MW photovoltaic power generation project was connected to the grid. Sinohydro Bureau 5 Co., Ltd. undertook the supervision work for this project.

Since entering the site on April 25 this year, the supervision team has overcome various difficulties and actively advanced project construction. Faced with a tight schedule, heavy grid-connection tasks, steep transport roads, narrow construction sites, and high-temperature weather conditions, the supervision department actively made arrangements, carefully prepared supervision implementation rules, refined the reverse-scheduled construction timetable, held project-specific meetings, and discussed construction plans. It actively communicated and coordinated, establishing a seamless communication mechanism with the owner and the general contractor. It went deep into the construction site, strictly investigated safety and quality hazards in accordance with supervision specifications, strengthened on-site inspection and supervision, and conducted full-process on-site supervision at key parts and key processes of the project. It continuously strengthened process management and quality and safety control, strictly controlled each construction milestone, and ensured that construction quality met the requirements of relevant laws, regulations, standards, and technical agreements. It promptly identified problems and urged the construction unit to rectify them in a timely manner, actively coordinated and handled multiple issues to closure, ensured the smooth progress of the project's quality, safety, and production schedule, and ensured that the project achieved its first-batch grid-connection target on schedule.

The project is located in Qianjiang District, Chongqing. The proposed site area is mainly orchards, and the overall terrain is relatively steep. The total area is about 4,732.86 mu, with the photovoltaic site covering 4,540.8 mu. The 110 kV transmission line is 8.4 kilometers long. The project is built in two phases: Phase I is 70 MW, and Phase II is 80 MW, with a total installed capacity of 150 MW. The project is expected to generate an average annual power output of about 220 million kWh, which, based on average annual household electricity consumption, can meet the electricity demand of 50,000 households for one year. In terms of environmental benefits, the project can save about 68,800 tons of standard coal annually and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 181,300 tons per year. It will inject strong momentum into local ecological environmental protection and green, low-carbon development, and is of great significance for promoting the optimization of the regional energy structure.
