Recently, the world's first ducted-fan high-altitude tethered firefighting drone system, "Aoqin," was unveiled in Zigong, Sichuan. The equipment is powered by the Yuchai YCK11-300kW range-extender system for sustained power support, marking a new step forward in the unmanned and intelligent level of urban firefighting in China.

As China's first tethered power-supply firefighting drone to obtain authoritative certification, "Aoqin" breaks through technical bottlenecks such as insufficient endurance and limited operating time of traditional drones, and integrates the core advantages of both low-altitude firefighting drones and fire engines. The complete fire engine is no more than 10 meters long and 2.5 meters wide; after receiving an alarm, it can arrive at the burning building at the earliest opportunity and engage in operations promptly without the need to deploy a complex rescue support footprint. Relying on the sustained power support of the YCK11-300kW range-extender system, the drone connected to the fire engine can ascend to an altitude of 100 meters within one minute, truly enabling efficient operations within the "golden rescue time" and injecting hard-core technological momentum into building a "all-hazard, major emergency" rescue system.

At the launch event, "Aoqin" conducted a panoramic high-altitude firefighting demonstration that attracted widespread attention and led to purchase intentions with multiple customers. Based on the successful experience of the first supporting project, Yuchai simultaneously launched new-generation power solutions such as the YCK16-450kW and the 850V high-voltage platform, further expanding its high-end supporting capabilities in the firefighting sector. Going forward, Yuchai will continue to empower emergency rescue with economical and reliable power products, contributing greater strength to building an efficient and safe urban firefighting system.
