Recently, the Tangzhang Wastewater Treatment Plant Project (EPC general contracting), a key livelihood project in Xuzhou City undertaken by Guiyang Institute, successfully passed completion acceptance, marking the project's official entry into operation.

The project is located in Tangzhang Town, Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province. Its core construction content includes a wastewater treatment plant with a daily treatment capacity of 20,000 tons and a supporting pipe network system with a total length of approximately 33 kilometers (including 6 lifting pump stations).

During the project construction process, Guiyang Institute took technology as the guide, management as the core, and safety as the bottom line, efficiently coordinating the entire project construction process. In response to difficulties such as complex hydrogeological conditions in the construction area and the interlacing of existing municipal pipelines in the town area, the project team tackled the challenges head-on and assembled professional technical forces for in-depth research and breakthrough. By scientifically formulating construction plans and establishing a weekly coordination meeting mechanism, communication barriers among all participating parties were effectively removed; BIM technology was applied for three-dimensional modeling and clash detection of the plant area, proactively avoiding construction conflicts and ensuring the precise implementation of advanced processes; a smart management platform for urban drainage pipe networks was built to achieve real-time monitoring and dynamic adjustment of project progress and quality; for ultra-hazardous projects such as deep foundation pits and high formwork, special construction plans were formulated and passed expert review, ultimately forging a solid safety defense line with an excellent record of "zero safety accidents," ensuring the smooth realization of project goals and comprehensively demonstrating Guiyang Institute's strong comprehensive construction expertise and refined management level in the field of large-scale municipal environmental protection engineering.

Related achievements of the project have successively won the "QC Second-Class Merit Achievement of the China Water Resources and Hydropower Survey and Design Association" and two "Guizhou Provincial Engineering Construction Method" certifications.

The official commissioning of the Tangzhang Wastewater Treatment Plant and its supporting pipe network system will greatly enhance the sewage collection and treatment capacity of the surrounding areas, effectively alleviate sewage treatment pressure, significantly improve the water environment quality of the Langxi River, and optimize the surrounding living environment. At the same time, it will drive employment, promote land value appreciation, and inject strong momentum into the ecological civilization construction of Xuzhou City.
