Recently, the East Flight Area Airfield Engineering (Section VII) and Earthwork Engineering (Section III) (Batch 1) of the Phase III Expansion Project of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, undertaken by PowerChina Airport Construction Company, passed completion acceptance, achieving flawless contract performance.

The acceptance, which began on July 9, was organized by the Engineering Construction Command of Guangdong Airport Authority and involved design, construction, and supervision units as well as industry experts. Through on-site inspections, document reviews, and other methods, the acceptance team conducted a comprehensive assessment of project quality, safety, and compliance, ultimately determining that the project meets design specifications and construction standards.

The Airfield Earthwork Engineering (Section III) of the Phase III Expansion Project of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport commenced in September 2022, mainly comprising earthwork and ground treatment works, with an acceptance area of 1.62 million square meters this time. The Airfield Engineering (Section VII) commenced in August 2023 and covers multiple construction contents including ground treatment, pavement engineering, and underpass channels.

At present, the project team is fully committed to subsequent construction and acceptance preparation.
