On July 11, the first deep-sea comprehensive aquaculture platform project undertaken by Sinohydro Bureau 4 Co., Ltd. — "Yangxi No. 1" — commenced construction at Yangjiang Company, marking a new step and a further breakthrough in the development of Sinohydro Bureau 4's offshore engineering equipment manufacturing industry. The start of construction of this project is of epoch-making significance for the marine economy development of Yangjiang City and the building of a "blue granary."

The project adopts a "1+30+N" model to build a large truss-type cage with a water volume capacity of 60,000 cubic meters, measuring 100 meters in length and 36 meters in width, and equipped with a full system integrating intelligent monitoring, automatic feeding, seawater desalination, and more. Once completed, the project can produce 2 million jin of various marine fish per cycle, which will completely overturn the traditional aquaculture model.

The start of construction of this project is a key measure for Yangjiang City to leverage its regional marine advantages in accordance with local conditions, build a "blue granary," and advance high-quality marine economy development.
