On July 10, the anti-seepage project in the reservoir and dam area of the Dongzhuang Water Conservancy Hub, undertaken by Sinohydro Foundation Engineering Bureau, achieved a major breakthrough: intelligent grouting construction footage has exceeded 600,000 meters, laying an important foundation for achieving the hub's goal of lowering the gates and impounding water in November.

     As one of the 172 major water conservancy projects for water conservation and supply determined by the State Council,the Dongzhuang Water Conservancy Hub Projectis of great significance. It is not only the world's first high concrete double-curvature arch dam project under construction in a sediment-laden river reach, but also a core component of the flood control and sediment reduction system for the Yellow River and Weihe River. Its anti-seepage project in the reservoir and dam area is enormous in scale, with a planned total grouting volume of over one million meters, equivalent to 3 to 4 times that of an ordinary hydropower station, and it is known as "China's No. 1 single anti-seepage contract."

     Faced with complex geological conditions such as the limestone karst development zone in the reservoir and dam area and the wide, large fissures in the rock strata on the left bank, Sinohydro Foundation Engineering Bureau vigorously promoted digital and intelligent technological innovation and application, developing an intelligent grouting system with fully independent intellectual property rights. Through multi-parameter sensors and artificial intelligence models, the system has built a new grouting management model of "network recording + centralized control + remote instructions," enabling real-time dynamic monitoring of core parameters such as grouting pressure, flow rate, and slurry density. All data are recorded in detail and synchronously uploaded to the cloud, achieving intelligent management throughout the entire grouting construction process.
