On July 7 local time, the main works under Supplementary Agreement No. 3 of the 25-kilometer road rehabilitation project on Nosy Be Island, Madagascar, undertaken by Sinohydro Bureau 14, were completed ahead of schedule.

The supplementary agreement was formally signed on February 18, 2025, with an original construction period running until July 15. It mainly covers the rehabilitation of approximately 8 kilometers of road, including earthworks, drainage works, main construction centered on pavement works, and ancillary supporting works such as the installation of traffic signals and signs.

Faced with complex traffic diversion pressures and restricted construction site conditions, the project team scientifically prepared the construction organization plan during the preliminary stage and innovatively adopted a advancement model combining optimized process interleaving, segmented flow-line operations, and skip-segment parallel construction. After three months of intensive work during the rainy season and a two-month high-intensity "60-day sprint" in the dry season, the main works under the agreement were ultimately completed one week ahead of schedule, achieving the "dual targets" of project quality and construction progress.
