On July 6-7, 2025, the 17th BRICS Summit (hereinafter referred to as the "BRICS Summit") was grandly held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. On July 8 local time, Premier Li Qiang of the State Council attended a symposium with Chinese-funded enterprises in Brazil in Rio de Janeiro. As a representative of China's equipment manufacturing industry, XCMG Group was invited to participate.

After listening to speeches by enterprise representatives, Li Qiang said that in recent years, Chinese enterprises have accelerated their pace of "going global," enhanced their international business capabilities, and their importance to domestic economic development has also been rising. He expressed the hope that Chinese-funded enterprises will adapt to the times and act proactively. They should build strong brands, strengthen forward-looking planning, and enhance the global competitiveness of "Made in China" and "Created in China." They should deeply cultivate local markets, provide consumers with more marketable and suitable products and services, and use Brazil as a platform to reach the broader Latin American market, striving to achieve greater development.

BRICS Business Council

The 2025 BRICS Business Forum, as an important supporting event of the BRICS Summit, was held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on July 5. Brazilian President Lula attended the forum and delivered a speech. During the forum, participating representatives held in-depth discussions on a series of topics including sustainable economic development of BRICS countries, energy transition, and the digital economy. XCMG Group was invited to participate in related activities.

Entrusted by Chairman Yang Dongsheng, Li Hanguang, General Manager of XCMG Brazil, attended relevant activities of the Council on behalf of XCMG and delivered a keynote speech on the topic of "Technological Innovation and Green Sustainable Development" at the Business Forum.

In his speech, Li Hanguang shared XCMG's successful practices in deeply cultivating the Latin American market and its experience in global development, vividly demonstrating the fruitful achievements and sense of responsibility of Chinese manufacturing in its transformation toward high-end, intelligent, and green development.
