On July 2, the EPC general contracting project for the new campus of Ankang Hengkou Senior High School in Shaanxi, undertaken by Sinohydro Bureau 3 Co., Ltd., officially commenced construction, marking the project's formal entry into the construction phase.

At the commencement ceremony, an overview of the project was presented, and it was emphasized that the project team must firmly shoulder its responsibilities and mission, adhere to high standards and strict requirements, and strictly control quality, schedule, and safety, so as to build the project into a premium endeavor. Sinohydro Bureau 3 stated that it will fully leverage its integrated whole-industry-chain advantages in "investment, construction, and operation," fulfill its responsibilities as a central state-owned enterprise, organize construction in strict accordance with construction specifications, process flows, and quality system standards, formulate and implement a rigorous construction schedule, and through scientific construction achieve both project quality and safe and civilized construction compliance, contributing the strength of Bureau 3 to promoting the high-quality economic and social development of Ankang City.

This project is a key project of Ankang City. Upon completion, it will accommodate 60 teaching classes and 3,300 teachers, students, and staff. The total floor area of the project is 78,243.56 square meters. The main buildings include an administrative office building, teaching buildings, comprehensive laboratories and their auxiliary rooms, resource classrooms, an all-weather sports field, apartment buildings, and a cafeteria; the outdoor supporting works include a 400-meter standard circular running track, basketball courts, volleyball courts, tennis courts, landscaping, roads, and more. It is expected to be fully completed and put into use in September 2027.

Sinohydro Bureau 3 promptly established a project management team, immediately carried out design optimization and construction preparation, defined design optimization objectives and construction milestone plans, and comprehensively coordinated core aspects such as design, construction, safety, quality, and cost, making every effort to ensure the progress of project construction.

The Ankang Municipal Education and Sports Bureau, the Party Working Committee of the Hengkou Demonstration Zone, the Demonstration Zone Education and Sports Bureau, as well as heads of relevant departments, school representatives, and construction party representatives attended the commencement ceremony.
