On the afternoon of May 23, 2025, the Strategic Advisory Meeting on the Construction of the National Key Laboratory of Mountain Civil Engineering Safety and Resilience, jointly established by East China Jiaotong University and Chongqing University, was held in Chongqing.

Prior to the meeting, the launch ceremony of the National Key Laboratory of Mountain Civil Engineering Safety and Resilience (Chongqing University) was held at the B Campus of Chongqing University.Experts from the Laboratory Construction Strategic Advisory Committee, leaders from the Chongqing Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, the Association for Science and Technology, the Construction Commission, the Earthquake Administration, and the Education Commission, leaders and faculty representatives from East China Jiaotong University and Chongqing University, and members of the laboratory gathered together to jointly open a new chapter in scientific and technological innovation in the field of mountain civil engineering!

The Laboratory Construction Strategic Advisory Meeting was held at the Chongqing Science Hall. More than 30 experts, including Xie Lili, Liu Jiaping (Xi'an), Miao Changwen, Lai Yuanming, Zheng Jianlong, Ren Huiqi (online), Lu Chunfang, Wu Zhiqiang, Xie Xianqi (online), Yue Qingrui, Peng Jianbing, Zhang Xigang, Li Jie, Liu Jiaping (Nanjing), Yin Yueping, Zhou Chuangbing, and Zeng Bin (online), as well as Laboratory Director Zhou Xuhong, Deputy Directors Liu Hanlong and Xu Changjie, Deputy Director of the Laboratory Academic Committee Yang Yongbin, and faculty representatives from East China Jiaotong University and Chongqing University attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Professor Zhou Xuhong, Director of the Laboratory.
