On May 9, the kick-off meeting for the compilation of the "Technical Specification for Expanded-Base and Belled Concrete Cast-in-Place Piles" (hereinafter referred to as the "Specification") was grandly held in Nanchang, Jiangxi. The meeting brought together more than 40 experts and scholars, university representatives, research institutions, enterprise representatives, and industry elites from relevant fields across the country (meeting the requirements for specification compilation), who jointly offered suggestions for the compilation work of the Specification, marking an important step forward on the path of standardization. The outline covers the main content framework, key technical indicators, scope of application, and other aspects, ensuring comprehensive and systematic coverage of key industry points; the setting of key technical indicators references advanced domestic and international standards and combines the actual conditions of this technology, striving for scientific rationality, practicality, and efficiency.
Subsequently, Liu Xiangang, Chairman of the lead compiling unit Jiangxi Jiye Technology Group Co., Ltd., gave a detailed introduction to the technical characteristics and engineering applications of expanded-base and belledconcrete cast-in-place piles, so as to facilitate the editorial committee members' full understanding of the technology and ensure a smooth compilation process.During the lively discussion session, the attendees expressed their views and put forward valuable opinions and suggestions from different perspectives.
