On April 15, the first batch of wind turbines of the Liaoning Faku 150 MW wind power project, constructed by Henan Engineering Company, was successfully grid-connected, and all equipment is currently operating in good condition.

The project is located in Faku County, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, and involves the installation of 24 wind turbine generator units with a single-unit capacity of 6.25 MW, totaling an installed capacity of 150 MW. A new 220 kV booster station has been built within the wind farm, equipped with one main transformer and 15 MW/30 MWh energy storage equipment, along with a new single-circuit 220 kV overhead line—the Hongkang Line—which connects to the 220 kV side of the newly built main transformer at Kangping Power Plant and feeds into the grid. Once completed, the project is expected to deliver 420 million kWh of green electricity to the grid annually, with an annual equivalent full-load utilization of 2,800 hours. After the project is fully operational, it will effectively alleviate local environmental protection pressure, contribute to the energy structure adjustment of the Liaoning power grid, and promote sustainable local economic and social development.

Since the commencement of construction, the project team has faced many challenges, including foundation construction in winter. However, through close collaboration between the project department and all participating units, a construction plan featuring reasonable layout, advanced equipment, and sound economic indicators was adopted, the window period for wind turbine hoisting was seized, and dedicated personnel were assigned to follow up on land acquisition and grid-connection procedures, ultimately ensuring the smooth grid connection of the wind turbines!  

The successful grid connection of the first batch of wind turbines at the Faku wind power project has laid a solid foundation for the subsequent power receiving and grid connection work of the company's Shenyang 500 MW wind power project, marking a solid step forward in project performance. Next, the project department will continue to carry out defect elimination and trial operation work, making positive contributions to achieving full power receiving and grid connection of the Shenyang 500 MW wind power project.
