On the morning of April 10, 2025, the China Foundation Innovation Alliance welcomed its Vice Chairman, Dr. Zhang Rihong, Vice President of Ningbo Zhongchun High-Tech Co., Ltd., who arrived on time for his duty shift at the Alliance, providing professional technical guidance for industry development and demonstrating his strong sense of responsibility and professionalism in the foundation field.

In the afternoon, Dr. Zhang Rihong transformed into a highly anticipated "technical livestreamer," appearing on the 22nd episode of the "Foundation Academy - My Technology, My Voice" program. In this livestream event, centering on static-drilling root-embedded pile technology, he provided an in-depth analysis of how this technology is reshaping the construction industry ecosystem, bringing the audience an intellectual feast.

During the livestream, Dr. Zhang Rihong systematically interpreted static-drilling root-embedded pile technology from multiple dimensions. Regarding seismic performance, he elaborated in detail on the advantages of this technology over traditional displacement precast piles, noting that it can better adapt to complex geological conditions such as earthquakes and provide more reliable seismic protection for building structures. On the bearing mechanism, through accessible explanations, he helped the audience understand the unique bearing principle of static-drilling root-embedded piles, which gives them outstanding load-bearing capacity. At the same time, he particularly emphasized the technology's significant improvements in environmental impact, pointing out that traditional displacement precast piles suffer from bottlenecks such as poor soil adaptability and major construction disturbance, whereas static-drilling root-embedded piles adopt a non-displacement construction method that breaks through these application limitations, reducing the carbon footprint of precast piles by 50% and truly achieving "green construction and low-carbon building," making a positive contribution to environmental protection.

This livestream event was hosted by Dr. Qiu Rendong of the Institute of Foundation Engineering at the China Academy of Building Research. During the event, Dr. Qiu Rendong spoke highly of static-drilling root-embedded pile technology, emphasizing that it deeply integrates material innovation, process innovation, and environmental demands, providing a highly feasible, scalable solution for the construction industry's "dual carbon" goals. The application of this technology not only has extremely important practical significance but will also exert a profound impact on the entire foundation industry, and is expected to drive the industry toward more green and sustainable development.

Sun Jinshan, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Foundation Innovation Alliance, stated that this event achieved a linkage between duty-shift Q&A and technical livestreaming. This innovative event format not only provided timely and accurate technical guidance for the industry but also, through livestreaming, enabled more people to learn about the latest foundation technology innovation achievements, promoting technical exchange and dissemination and playing a positive role in advancing the development of the entire foundation industry.

Vice Chairman Zhang Rihong's duty shift and participation in the livestream event injected new vitality into the China Foundation Innovation Alliance and provided entirely new ideas and directions for the green development and technological innovation of the construction industry. It is believed that under his leadership, the Alliance will continue to play an important role in promoting technological progress and industry development in the foundation field.
