On April 9, the first Rice Mechanical Transplanting Skills Competition of the 2025 Xiang-Gan Border Zhuzhou-Pingxiang "Zoomlion Cup" was held in Liling City, Zhuzhou, Hunan. Recently, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council issued the "Plan for Accelerating the Building of an Agricultural Powerhouse (2024-2035)," setting out the roadmap and construction blueprint for accelerating the building of an agricultural powerhouse. It mentions the need to advance the full-process and all-round upgrading of agricultural machinery and equipment and to promote the comprehensive integration of digital technology with modern agriculture.

In this "demonstration," Zoomlion's intelligent driving rice transplanter operated in a "one person, one machine" mode, autonomously completing tasks such as traveling, turning around, and automatic raising and lowering of the planting unit, changing the operating mode of traditional rice transplanters and doubling efficiency. This transplanter is fully equipped with a self-developed "smart driving" system, achieving the organic integration of three technologies—"autonomous driving, acreage accounting for operations, and vehicle monitoring"—and providing a smarter solution for the rice transplanting process. It is one of the cases of Zoomlion's intelligent and digital technologies being integrated and applied in agricultural machinery and equipment.

In recent years, Zoomlion has been relying on its own technological advantages and deep accumulation to actively advance the intelligent, digital, and green integrated development of the entire value chain of its agricultural machinery segment. In large high-end intelligent agricultural machinery, Zoomlion took the lead in launching a 230-horsepower shift tractor in China and has stepped up efforts in new energy technologies, launching a 400-horsepower hybrid tractor, breaking the monopoly of European and American brands in the field of high-end high-horsepower tractors.

In agricultural machinery and equipment suitable for hilly and mountainous areas, Zoomlion took the lead in undertaking Hunan Province's "Research and Development of Efficient and Intelligent Agricultural Machinery and Equipment Suitable for Hilly and Mountainous Areas" project, tackling related bottleneck technologies, and successfully developing the world's first CB503 wheel-track composite hybrid chassis, among other achievements. In addition, targeting conditions in the hilly areas of southern China, it has launched a number of products such as the RK904 wheeled tractor and the industry's first ordered rice seedling thrower, improving the adaptability between agricultural machinery and agronomy and better meeting the diversified needs of agricultural production in hilly and mountainous areas.

At the same time, Zoomlion also persists in the integrated development of intelligent agricultural machinery and smart agriculture, accelerating the deep integration of digital technology with modern agriculture. At present, Zoomlion Smart Agriculture has established a system of data collection-intelligent decision-making-precision operations for smart agriculture of field crops. Centering on decision-making for the entire field crop planting process, it has established "sky, air, ground, human, and machine" five-in-one data collection, developed seven general core technologies such as precision fertilization, precision irrigation, and precision plant protection, and 156 intelligent decision-making algorithms, and developed software platforms such as agricultural big data management, agricultural geographic information, agricultural Internet of Things, and smart farm management, which have been recognized by a large number of farmers.
