On April 7 local time, as the 34th Bauma 2025 opened in Germany, the eyes of the global construction machinery industry focused on the New Munich Trade Fair Centre. Sany Group, together with Putzmeister, under the theme "World of Efficiency—Your Partner to Create the Best," made a strong appearance with 66 brand-new machines across 7 major categories, occupying a total exhibition area of 5,256 square meters—twice that of the previous edition—making it the largest Chinese exhibitor and showcasing a new brand image on the international stage.

Sany's exhibition area opens with great excitement

At 10 a.m., Su Zimeng, President of the China Construction Machinery Association; Wu Peiguo, Secretary-General; Li Jianyou, Vice President; Qi Jun, Honorary President and Special Advisor; Bai Xuefeng, Vice President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products;Sany GroupDirector and President of Sany Heavy Industry Yu Hongfu; Chen Jiayuan, Chairman of the Heavy Machinery Business Unit; Wang Zheng, General Manager of the Heavy Machinery Business Unit; SONG, Director of the Overseas Operations Headquarters and Special Assistant to the Chairman; Yuan Yue, Chairman of the Hoisting Machinery Business Unit; Jiang Qingbin, Chairman of the Pump & Road Business Unit; He Xin, General Manager of the Loader Business Unit, and other leaders gathered at the Sany exhibition area to jointly witness its official opening!

Yu Hongfuintroduced in his opening speech that at this exhibition, Sany Group presents more than 60 brand-new products, committed to providing global customers with high-quality, high-efficiency, high-value and sustainable solutions. Sany Group has always stayed one step ahead, continuously leading industry transformation, with the aim of creating the highest value for customers.

Yu Hongfu stated that in 2024, Sany Group's overseas sales hit a record high. In 2025, Sany will further expand its global market and become a true leader in the global construction machinery industry. This is the new mission of all Sany people and a new opportunity for Sany's future development. We are willing to work together with customers, dealers, suppliers, as well as governments and associations to make Sany's contribution to construction in Germany, Europe and the world, making Sany the "efficient global partner in construction machinery" for all customers and creating greater value for everyone.

Localization and electrification spark a buying frenzy

On the first day of the show, the sky was clear and blue, and brand-new Sany machines stood proudly, gleaming in the sunlight. Crowds of professional visitors streamed into the exhibition area, surging through this forest of machinery and pausing to look around.

At the Sany exhibition area, the first 1-tonne mini excavator SY10U, the EU Stage V-compliant short-tail excavator SY26C, the SY215C NLC and other excavators—six models in total equipped with two-piece booms, long booms and dedicated attachments—the 40-tonne-classmaterial handlerSMHW40G5 developed for the European market, the light tandem roller STR27C-10, and Europe's longest fully compliant boom pump SY68 RZR6-180 formed a neatly arrayed European product matrix, drawing a flood of inquiries and purchases from European customers. Business was booming, and exhibits sold out right after the show opened in many cases.

Eleven electrified products making their European debut became the center of attention, covering all 7 major categories exhibited this time, and their innovative, advanced electrification technology drew frequent praise from visitors. Among them, the world's largest-tonnage all-electric crawler crane SCC2000A-EV attracted many customers, who either leaned close to the body to observe the structural design or climbed into the cab to experience the interactive details; products such as the industry's first 5-tonne all-electric drive roller STR50E, the first CE-certified electric loader on the new platform SW956E, and the lithium-battery high-voltage counterbalance forklift SCP35C6 were also surrounded by customers asking engineers in detail about technical specifications.

On the other side, the Putzmeister exhibition area and the Sany exhibition area once again staged a dance of the dragon and the elephant, and its 28 high-end concrete equipment units were likewise enthusiastically sought after by customers, with orders continuing to climb.

Efficient service makes a powerful appearance

On site, the parts exhibition area was transformed into a "technical dissection table" of lean manufacturing. At this Bauma Germany, Sany Group for the first time showcased a complete range of parts, including hydraulic components and wear parts. Combined with digital and intelligent operation systems such as MYSANY, it demonstrated to European customers Sany Group's efficient and high-quality service capabilities in Europe and worldwide, fully presenting the entire value chain from high-end main machines to key components, and attracting many customers for cooperation discussions.

Sixteen years ago, Sany invested in building a plant in Bedburg, taking its first step into Germany. Today, Sany has taken root and flourished throughout Europe, building a marketing and service network covering 150+ dealers, 120 sales experts, 70 service vehicles and spare parts worth 20 million euros. This is yet another vivid interpretation of Sany Group's exhibition theme "World of Efficiency—Your Partner to Create the Best."

Immersive experience ignites visitor enthusiasm

In the remote-control experience area, a visitor sat in the cab and, from the exhibition site in Munich, Germany, remotely operated an excavator at a base in Huzhou, Zhejiang, China, thousands of miles away, to complete precise digging work. The smoothness of the robotic arm's synchronized movements amazed onlookers, who lined up to try it themselves.

As the crowd favorite, the Sany equipment performance area was always packed tight. Two SY19E electric mini excavators and one SY80U excavator became rhythm masters and agile "steel dancers," swinging precisely, spinning their buckets and flipping their booms to the beat of dynamic electronic music, working in perfect harmony with the dancers like a futuristic mecha blockbuster. While thrilling the audience, they vividly demonstrated the flexible controllability of Sany equipment.

Bauma 2025 in Germany has already kicked off. Over the seven-day exhibition period, Sany Group will continue to hold a series of rich and colorful activities. Stay tuned for more highlights!
