Jiangsu Tongzhou Foundation Engineering Co., Ltd. was founded in October 1972 and was affiliated with the Nantong County Water Conservancy Bureau. It was a state-owned enterprise engaged in the construction of water conservancy projects such as bridges, culverts, and sluice gates. In the 1980s, it began undertaking foundation and ground engineering construction, and in 1996 it obtained the Grade I qualification for foundation and ground engineering construction. To adapt to ultra-deep reverse-construction steel pipe column construction, the company has successively completed two high-precision steel pipe column construction methods, namely the pre-insertion method and the post-insertion method, and independently developed a high-precision verticality adjustment frame based on suspension and gravity-based verticality adjustment. The company attaches importance to the research, reform, and innovation of new technologies and new processes, and has developed a number of original construction methods and scientific research achievements with domestic leading levels. In recent years, more than ten construction methods, including the full-rotation full-casing method under special conditions, the dual-power-head full-casing method, the full-casing secant pile method, the MJS method, the RJP method, and the full-rotation pile extraction and obstacle clearing method, have been approved as provincial-level construction methods. A number of construction methods have won the "Annual Construction Method Innovation Award of China's Foundation Construction Industry." The rotary drilling full-casing method was awarded the "Special Contribution Award for Construction Methods" by Bauer of Germany. The company participated in the compilation of the national industry standard "Technical Specification for Stiffened Composite Piles" (JGJ/T327-2014). The innovation project on the construction technology of full-casing drilled secant piles won a provincial-level excellent QC achievement award, and more than ten projects won municipal-level excellent QC achievement awards. Dozens of academic papers have been published and exchanged in core journals and national academic conferences. With modern management and professional, mature construction technology, the company has completed more than a thousand large and medium-sized key foundation projects with high quality and efficiency, achieving remarkable construction performance and social reputation. Among them, eight projects, including the Nanjing Convention and Exhibition Center, for which the company undertook pile foundation construction, won the Luban Prize for Construction Engineering. Dozens of projects, including Phase I of Huai'an Huayang Commercial City, won the "Yangtze Cup" and other provincial and ministerial-level quality engineering awards. A number of projects won provincial-level civilized construction site awards and other honors.
