On March 6 local time, the Angola Representative Office of Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA) signed contracts for a series of drought-relief projects in Huíla Province, Angola, with the Angolan Ministry of Energy and Water. Owner representative Carolino, the POWERCHINA Angola country representative, and heads of relevant member enterprises of the Group in Angola attended the signing ceremony.

The projects signed this time involve water conservancy infrastructure construction, water supply security, and reservoir rehabilitation, including the construction of a new earth-rock dam and a reservoir with a total storage capacity of approximately 89 million cubic meters, a water treatment plant with a daily treatment capacity of 40,000 cubic meters, water transmission pipelines, and water intake pumping stations.
