Recently, Weichai reached another milestone moment — the 800,000th gas engine rolled off the line, and the new-generation WP16NG4.0 gas power product was launched with great fanfare in Chengdu. Recently, Sinotruk delivered the first batch of 50 new-energy pure electric tractors to a major customer in Qingdao and signed a strategic cooperation agreement for 100 pure electric tractors with several leading enterprises in Qingdao. With surging momentum, Sinotruk is accelerating its lead on the new-energy commercial vehicle track; with technological breakthroughs, it became the monthly sales champion of new-energy heavy trucks for the first time in February, Shaanxi Heavy-Duty Truck's monthly sales of new-energy heavy trucks grew by 766% year on year, and Shandong Heavy Industry's leading advantage in new-energy heavy truck market share has further expanded.

Spring returns to the earth, and a new chapter of intelligence begins. Coinciding with the spring plowing season, Shandong Heavy Industry's smart agriculture has attracted frequent attention from mainstream media such as CCTV and provincial TV stations. Weichai Lovol uses a "smart brain" to overturn traditional agricultural production methods; through AI large models, it connects farmland data with every link of artificial intelligence decision-making, intelligent agricultural machinery operations and field management, building a full-chain smart agriculture ecosystem and making spring plowing production both "new" and "digital." At the Weichai Lovol production site, the intelligent production lines are bustling, and the tractor factory has a daily capacity of more than 400 units. Since the beginning of this year, guided by the new development philosophy, Shandong Heavy Industry has strongly promoted the construction of major projects around "building chains, extending chains, supplementing chains and strengthening chains," supporting the "stability" of high-quality development with the "progress" of project construction.

At the site of the Phase I intelligent connected (new energy) heavy truck project of Sinotruk Group, the first domestic production line capable of producing 200,000 sets of longitudinal beams per year on a single line — the "Zhisu" longitudinal beam roll-forming and punching production line — has been fully put into operation. Just as its name suggests, "Zhi" (intelligence) represents intelligent genes running through the entire production and manufacturing process, and "Su" (speed) represents a new breakthrough in production efficiency. Through three major innovations — a process revolution, a quality revolution and an efficiency revolution — this production line will build the "golden triangle" of Chinese heavy truck manufacturing.

As a key equipment manufacturing project in Shandong Province, the Weichai (Qingdao) High-End Marine Equipment Manufacturing Center project has entered a critical stage. At present, the steel and aluminum boat production workshops and supporting facilities of the Phase I land works have been basically completed, and the conditions for putting boat construction projects into production will be formally met at the end of March; in terms of water works, shoreline renovation and the construction of the ship lift platform are proceeding in an orderly manner and are expected to be completed and put into use before June this year. Once the project is completed, it will integrate upstream and downstream resources to create a new high-end manufacturing industrial cluster along the coast of the Shandong Peninsula and promote high-quality regional economic development.

In Fushan District, Yantai, the construction site of the Weichai (Yantai) New Energy Power Industrial Park is bustling with activity. This industry-leading industrial park will span the entire industrial chain of power batteries, motors, electronic controls and electric drive assemblies for new-energy commercial vehicles, with strong manufacturing capacity of 50GWh of battery PACKs, 500,000 flat-wire motors, 400,000 electronic controls and 50,000 electric drive assemblies per year. In the critical process of the new-energy commercial vehicle transition, Weichai, with its deep technological accumulation and sustained innovation investment, has fully mastered the "three electrics" core technologies of batteries, motors and electronic controls, as well as key technologies such as the vehicle control unit (VCU) and intelligent driving, accelerating breakthroughs in the core technology bottlenecks of new-energy commercial vehicles and striving to build a golden industrial chain for new-energy commercial vehicles.

At the site of the Weichai Lovol high-horsepower tractor factory project, staff are stepping up the pace to make final preparations for the factory to go into production. As the first green smart factory in China's agricultural machinery industry, once completed the project will be able to produce 100,000 power-shift and CVT tractors of 100 horsepower and above per year, filling a domestic gap while accelerating the leap of China's agricultural machinery industry toward higher-end and smarter development.

In the domestic market, Sinotruk, with its outstanding product quality and precise market strategy, continues to lead the heavy truck market. In January, when the heavy truck market saw both month-on-month and year-on-year declines, Sinotruk bucked the trend with its extraordinary product strength, achieving heavy truck sales of 21,200 units in January, a market share of 29.4%, up 2.5% year on year, and capturing the "double championship" of industry sales and market share at the start of the year.

At the same time, good news of Weichai product deliveries keeps pouring in: 1,192 logistics vehicles equipped with Weichai WP15NG-4.0 shone in Ningxia, the "south of the Great Wall"; 110 Weichai WP14T mining truck power products强势 entered the mining area of Ordos, Inner Mongolia; and batch after batch of heavy trucks equipped with star products such as Weichai WP13NG, WP12H and WP15NG-4.0 drove in mighty convoys to all parts of the country. Recently, dozens of AsiaStar new-energy buses equipped with Weichai blade batteries were delivered to Jixi City, Heilongjiang, successfully withstanding the test of low temperatures. These battery technologies, representing the leading level of the commercial vehicle industry, have carved out a new world in the market.

Zhongtong Bus has also achieved impressive results in the domestic bus market. In the first two months of 2025, Zhongtong Bus's cumulative sales grew by 7.98% compared with the same period last year, and this growth reflects a signal of industry recovery.

In February, more than 100 Shantui excavators set off for the market. From the land of Qilu to the Yangtze River Economic Belt, Shantui is connecting the pulse of China's infrastructure with its steel body. Nearly 100 Lovol LT110H mining trucks were delivered in batches to a large open-pit mine in Inner Mongolia, helping build green smart mines and contributing Lovol's strength to customers' high-quality development.

In the international market, the subsidiaries of Shandong Heavy Industry Group have likewise achieved remarkable results.

In January 2025, Sinotruk's export market share reached 45.9%, demonstrating its strong competitiveness in the international market. Shantui has also blossomed in multiple points in the global market. In the Central Asian market, with its outstanding product solutions, Shantui once again successfully won a large project worth 100 million yuan in Kyrgyzstan, totaling more than 400 units of equipment, and signed orders for wide-body mining trucks and road machinery projects in Uzbekistan. On the African continent, more than 300 integrated road equipment units for a major project in Burkina Faso have been shipped, marking a key breakthrough in Shantui's deep cultivation of the African market and laying a solid foundation for the African market to take off again.

Zhongtong Bus has also continuously made breakthroughs in overseas markets. From February 23 to 25, Man Shengang visited Saudi Arabia to investigate the development of export business and attended the "Twenty Years Together · Breaking Through 10,000 Units — Zhongtong Bus · Saudi Abu Sahad Group Ten-Thousand-Unit Strategic Partner Signing and Awarding Ceremony," witnessing the signing of a new round of cooperation between the two sides. In addition to the Saudi market, Zhongtong Bus also uses major customers and major orders as its "pathfinder" to continuously drive global market sales, seize market high ground and push its brand toward the high end.
