On February 28, 2025, the much-anticipated China (Beijing) International Construction Machinery, Building Material Machinery and Mining Machinery Exhibition held the BICES 2025 Media and User Representative Symposium in Beijing. Association President Su Zimeng delivered a keynote speech titled "Review of the Construction Machinery Industry's Operation in 2024 and Outlook for 2025." He first emphasized that in 2024 the construction machinery industry strove to seize development opportunities, actively responded to changes in domestic and international market environments, overcame difficulties, and worked hard with determination; the industry's operation was generally stable with progress while maintaining stability, and high-quality development was solidly advanced. He then analyzed and reviewed the industry's operation in 2024 from six aspects, including the steady operation of major economic indicators of enterprises specially contacted by the Association; the continued growth of construction machinery export value on a relatively high base; the overall bottoming-out and stabilization of sales of the twelve major categories of construction machinery products; the strengthening of development confidence and rising expectations among industry enterprises; the integrated development of technological innovation and industrial innovation, with the industry's transformation toward high-end, intelligent and green development continuing to accelerate; and major problems and challenges.

In his speech, Su Zimeng stated that judging from the operation in January-February 2025, the whole industry got off to a good start, and many enterprises achieved a strong start. Looking ahead to the full year, as macroeconomic regulation intensifies and policy effects combine and take effect, favorable factors supporting the stable operation and high-quality development of the industry will continue to gather and increase, and the development environment of the construction machinery industry will steadily improve. Based on comprehensive judgment, it is expected that in 2025 the construction machinery industry will continue to show a trend of stable operation with progress while maintaining stability, major economic indicators will grow steadily, and foreign trade will remain basically stable.

The exhibition organizing committee has launched a global publicity and promotion plan, striving to attract 10,000 overseas professional visitors, with target visitors covering key markets worldwide. To achieve this goal, the organizing committee will adopt diversified invitation strategies, including optimizing the English website, strengthening social media publicity, and producing multilingual promotional materials to suit the communication needs of different regions. In addition, the organizing committee will work closely with international industry organizations, embassies in China and commercial institutions to plan concurrent international conference activities and enrich the exhibition content.
