At the beginning of the new year, PowerChina Port & Waterway Engineering Co., Ltd. won four bids in succession, covering major offshore new energy models such as offshore wind power and offshore photovoltaics, striving to secure a "good start" for the first quarter.

The 66kV collector line submarine cable procurement and laying project of the EPC general contracting project for the Three Gorges Yangjiang Qingzhou VII Offshore Wind Farm is located in the offshore deep-water site area of Yangjiang in the western Guangdong sea area, with a planned installed capacity of 1,000 MW. The main construction content includes the procurement and laying construction, commissioning, testing and acceptance of 66kV collector line submarine cables and their accessories, as well as the procurement, installation, testing and acceptance of 66kV submarine cable terminations and surge arrester equipment.

The Hebei Construction & Investment Xiangyun Island 250MW Offshore Wind Power Project and the Tangshan Shunheng Xiangyun Island 250MW Offshore Wind Power Project offshore booster station and wind turbine foundation transportation and construction, wind turbine hoisting construction procurement project are located in Tangshan City, Hebei Province, with a total wind farm capacity of 250 MW. The main construction content includes the construction of steel pipe piles for 20 wind turbine foundations, hoisting construction, electrical installation and foundation protection.

The photovoltaic area construction project of the PowerChina Qinhuangdao Changli 300MW Offshore Photovoltaic Pilot Project is located in Changli County, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, with a planned installed capacity of 115.2 MW. The main construction content includes the construction of steel pipe piles, grid frames, inverter supports, box transformer foundations and platforms, DC cables and low-voltage AC cable supports and cable trays, as well as the installation and commissioning of inverters and box transformer equipment.

After the above projects are completed, they can further optimize the clean and low-carbon energy transition of the locations, and are of positive significance for promoting energy production and the optimization and upgrading of local industrial structures, as well as advancing offshore new energy technological innovation and high-quality economic and social development.
