From October 15 to 18, 2013, the 12th China International Construction Equipment, Building Materials, and Mining Machinery Exhibition and Technical Exchange Conference (BICES 2013), co-hosted by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and the China Construction Machinery Association, was held at the Beijing Jiuhua Exhibition Center. With the theme of "Opportunities for All, Value Innovation," this year's exhibition covered nearly 210,000 square meters and was dedicated to transforming from a platform for displaying new products into a diversified, all-round value display platform for industry improvement, attracting more than 1,000 companies from around the world. The convening of BICES 2013 coincided with a critical moment of industry adjustment and upgrading. From the industry downturn and adjustment that began in 2011, to the whole industry banding together in 2012, and continuing to the stabilization that everyone anticipated in 2013, this deep adjustment undoubtedly provided an important opportunity for the entire construction machinery industry to strengthen its internal capabilities, upgrade its industries, and consolidate.
At this exhibition, Shantui, with its business philosophy of "Value Leadership, Win-Win Future" and the theme of "Intelligent Manufacturing," showcased five major categories of mainframe products and numerous domestically leading components such as transmissions, undercarriages, structural parts, and castings.
At Shantui's new product launch, Qi Jun, President of the China Construction Machinery Association, stated that the sales of major products in China's construction machinery industry had experienced 28 consecutive months of decline and were now entering a slow recovery process, with total volume expected to increase by October 2014. Wang Fei, General Manager of Shantui Construction Machinery Co., Ltd., presided over the ceremony. Deputy General Manager Xu Gang introduced the plus new products. Relying on the dual-track development path of "endogenous growth" and "innovation-driven," Shantui's main bulldozer business has maintained the "five firsts" advantage in China for ten consecutive years, with production and sales ranking first globally for three consecutive years. At this exhibition, Shantui grandly launched the plus series crawler bulldozers for the global market. This series mainly includes four products: SD13plus, SD16plus, SD22plus, and SD32plus. The plus series bulldozers extensively absorb advanced technologies in the contemporary bulldozer field. In response to the diverse needs of users for bulldozer performance and configuration, through technological innovation and the adoption of new technologies and processes, the main technical parameters, component configurations, reliability, comfort, and maintainability have all been comprehensively improved.The SD32PLUS crawler bulldozer, as Shantui's flagship new product, is a high-performance, highly durable bulldozer independently developed by Shantui. The equipment adopts advanced technologies such as hydraulic transmission, hydraulic control, electronic monitoring, and a large-capacity bulldozer blade. It is also equipped with a roll-over protection device, a hexahedral cab with good visibility, an air conditioning system, and an ergonomically designed control system. The structure is advanced and reasonable, and the operation is light and flexible.
The newly launched SL50WN loader is a premium product integrating new technology and a new appearance. Its beautiful appearance and obvious energy-saving effect are its main features. The entire machine adopts load-sensing flow control technology, has an advanced and reasonable structure, light and flexible pilot control, and is more reliable in quality. With a moderate wheelbase that is both flexible and stable, and a high dumping height, it is particularly suitable for heavy-load conditions in earth and stone operations.
In addition, there are the HJC5410THB-56 boom-type concrete pump truck, the H2N40B mortar mixing equipment specially for subway construction, the SD14D-3 double-drum roller, the SG21H-3 motor grader, and other mainframe products, as well as core component products for construction machinery such as crawler undercarriages, transmission parts, structural parts, and castings, shining in the capital and demonstrating Shantui's overall strength as a complete construction solution provider.
In theexhibitionparts area,Shantuishowcased a total of 43 varieties of key components, including integral undercarriages, lubricated track undercarriages, rotary drilling support rollers and other series of crawler undercarriage products; 5T loader transmission systems, ZF 12-cubic-meter reducers, 3T loader high-end dual-variable products; cylinder series products for bulldozers, excavators, and loaders; structural parts such as excavator booms and buckets; and cast steel products such as support rear seats and planet carriers.
