Following the successful launch of the GC258DP-8 in April, SMC recently welcomed the birth of another new model, the GC58-8 crawler hydraulic excavator.

The GC58-8 crawler hydraulic excavator features high configuration, high performance, safety and energy efficiency, along with strong power and a long service life. Its engine, hydraulic and control systems adopt internationally renowned brands, delivering higher operating efficiency and better compound operability. The machine has a designed weight of 5,095 kg, and its engine meets Euro III emission standards. It uses reliable electrical components such as sensors and connectors, and a multifunctional visual and audible electrical monitoring system that automatically monitors the machine's operating status and triggers automatic audible and visual alarms for various abnormal conditions, achieving a high level of intelligent control. A new-style driver's seat is adopted, fully adjustable with a comfortable backrest, and the joysticks are mounted on the seat armrests to minimize operator fatigue. A series of noise-reduction measures, including engine intake and exhaust noise reduction, fan noise reduction, engine vibration damping and sound-absorbing insulation in the engine compartment, minimize vibration and noise to the greatest extent and extend the machine's service life.
