Recently, at the 2024 Global Customer Day, Sunward held a new product launch event, unveiling more than 20 innovative products in a concentrated release, covering underground engineering equipment, excavation machinery, aerial work machinery, mining equipment and other series, fully demonstrating Sunward's achievements and strength in high-end, intelligent and green development.

Striking Hard with Heavy Equipment: Large Mining Equipment Demonstrates Its Strength

        Facing a mining market with promising prospects, Sunward has built an integrated mining equipment product chain covering "drilling, excavation (loading), hauling, crushing, beneficiation and smelting," becoming a first-class domestic supplier of complete mining equipment sets and comprehensive solutions.

        At this launch event, Sunward introduced products such as the large mining excavator SWE1650F, the crawler-type heavy-duty screening station SP1845SHHD, and the all-new generation integrated down-the-hole drill rig SWDE165BF, highlighting its technological innovation strength.

        Among them, the mining excavator SWE1650F drew the attention of both new and existing customers as soon as it was launched. It adopts dual-system twin control technology and a fully electronically controlled hydraulic system, features a single-engine emergency mode and engine cold-start protection, uses a 200t-class mining reinforced undercarriage, and its working device adopts a 7.6-meter boom plus 3.4-meter arm configuration, with a standard 10m³ large-capacity bucket. Key structural components are heat-treated, greatly improving their reliability. It comes standard with a fire suppression system and fully automatic lubrication, making operation safe and worry-free.

        Another "heavyweight contender," the crawler-type heavy-duty screening station SP1845SHHD, is equally impressive. With a processing capacity of 200-600t/h, it is equipped with an ultra-high-power power system and full hydraulic drive, offering strong resistance to overload and impact and effectively ensuring high throughput. The control system adopts a dual mode of wireless remote control plus local operation, and is equipped with the Sunward Xiangyun intelligent construction cloud platform, enabling fleet interconnection and remote controllability, with more convenient intelligent and visualized operation.

        "The SWDE165BF has a drilling diameter of 138-180mm and a maximum drilling depth of 36m." According to the R&D staff, this equipment meets the drilling needs of vertical, inclined and horizontal blast holes under various geological conditions, with high hole-forming efficiency, low energy consumption, and energy savings and environmental protection. Its unique one-touch switching mode between down-the-hole drilling and cutting allows both soft rock and hard rock to be handled by one machine, reducing construction costs and improving construction efficiency.

Supporting "Dual Carbon": Multiple Electric Products Unveiled
        Against the backdrop of "dual carbon," new energy equipment has become one of the future development trends. At present, Sunward has applied electrification technology to various products, achieving the goals of lower consumption, greater greenness and higher efficiency.

        For example, based on a brand-new electrification technology platform, Sunward this time launched four new products in its powerful Power series of electric boom lifts.

        The power system of the P-series electric boom lifts is equipped with large-capacity lithium batteries ranging from 16.38kwh to 38.3kwh, delivering industry-leading endurance. The chassis adopts a four-wheel AC drive system, with 45% gradeability across the entire series and strong off-road performance, enabling adaptation to various complex road conditions. The equipment is also equipped with a self-developed new-generation electronic control system, which is not only safe and reliable but also makes remote monitoring and management of the equipment easy.

        "Through compound operation, work efficiency can be increased by more than 30%." As the R&D staff explained, the aerial work platform smoothly and fluidly completed lifting, lowering and other movements.

        In addition, the newly developed electric excavator SWE225FE achieves zero emissions and low noise, with real-time monitoring of the entire machine's construction and charging processes, and multiple safety functions such as pre-charge protection, insulation detection and intelligent fault diagnosis. It is mainly suitable for earthmoving and breaking needs in enclosed spaces such as municipal works, ports and tunnels.

Focusing on Internationalization: Customized Products Attract Attention
        With the acceleration of internationalization, Sunward has also continuously carried out product iteration and upgrading, launching customized products for different markets to meet customer needs.

        Targeting markets such as Europe, North America and Turkey, Sunward this time introduced products including the rotary drilling rigs SWDM135S and SWDM240SW, which drew inquiries from many dealers.

        Among them, the SWDM135S is a machine with an operating weight of under 40t that can be transported as a whole with its drill pipe, with a transport width controlled at 2550mm. It adopts Euro V emissions, and its rotary head comes standard with high-speed soil throwing and gear selection modes, enabling switching between the Kelly (bucket drilling) and 4-lines CFA methods to meet the requirements of different working conditions.

        The SWDM240SW can switch between the Kelly bucket drilling and Quick Change CFA methods. Its main winch adopts a large-diameter drum with single-layer wire rope winding, greatly extending service life. It is a mainstay model for civil and municipal construction.

        At the launch event, Sunward also presented a spectacular machinery show. The performance machines featured dynamic, dazzling and lively custom decals, adding a brilliant touch of color to the winter event.
