On November 26, the reporter learned that in order to effectively alleviate waterlogging in the area, the Hefei Key Engineering Construction Management Bureau will commence construction of Phase III of the Drainage Pipeline Network Improvement Project. In order to enhance the people's sense of fulfillment, happiness, and security, a call for suggestions on Phase III of the Drainage Pipeline Network Improvement Project is now being launched. Members of the public and netizens are sincerely invited to contribute their wisdom and put forward opinions and suggestions.

The public solicitation period is from October 15, 2024 to January 15, 2025. The scope of the solicitation is as follows: Phase III of the Drainage Pipeline Network Improvement Project is located on Qingyang Road in Shushan District (excluding the scope of Wulidun Station and Shihe Road Station of Rail Transit Line S1, and the intersection of Changjiang West Road and Qingyang Road). The project will upgrade the rainwater system of Qingyang Road (Qingxi Road–Guichi Road section) and Guichi Road (Meijiaju South Gate–Qingyang Road) to a 5-year return period drainage standard, build a new Yansha diversion d2200 outlet, and simultaneously upgrade the sewage, utility pipelines, and roads. The road reconstruction has a total length of approximately 2.3 km; the main rainwater drainage pipeline is designed with a diameter of d2200—double-cell B4500H2200, with a total length of approximately 2.6 km; the main sewage drainage pipeline is designed with a diameter of d800-d1000, with a total length of approximately 2.3 km.
