On November 19, the Xixiangtang District Jinling Agricultural-Photovoltaic Complementary Power Generation EPC General Contracting Project, constructed by Sinohydro Bureau 5 Co., Ltd., achieved full-capacity grid-connected power generation.
The Xixiangtang District Jinling Agricultural-Photovoltaic Complementary Power Generation Project is located in Jinling Town, Xixiangtang District, Nanning City, with a total installed capacity of 5.836 MW. The project adopts medium- and large-span flexible supports, with modules at an 8° tilt angle; the monocrystalline silicon modules have a capacity of 690 W each and a ground clearance of 5 meters. This project is the first medium- and large-span flexible-support photovoltaic EPC project independently designed and self-constructed by Sinohydro Bureau 5. During construction, the project team strictly controlled safety and quality in civil construction, flexible support installation, photovoltaic panel installation, commissioning, and grid connection, effectively ensuring the high-quality progress of the project.
As land resources available for energy construction gradually decrease, this project is of great significance for studying how to efficiently utilize land resources, achieve the integration of agriculture, aquaculture, and photovoltaic power generation, and fully leverage resource benefits. It responds to development needs and also provides important reference value for the continued technical research and development and cost control of subsequent flexible-support photovoltaic projects.
The smooth implementation of this project has important strategic significance for the subsequent development of the new energy market. The project makes full use of aquaculture resources and land space to achieve green power generation above fish ponds. After full-capacity grid-connected power generation, the electricity it produces will effectively alleviate the local tight power supply situation, providing the grid with 6.23 million kWh of clean electricity annually, saving about 1,900 tons of standard coal per year, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 4,975 tons, saving about 16 tons of sulfur dioxide and about 16 tons of nitrogen oxides, and effectively easing environmental protection pressure. The injection of large amounts of clean electricity greatly reduces local dependence on traditional thermal power, provides valuable experience for the subsequent new energy development of Xixiangtang District, and is of great significance for improving local environmental quality.
