This year, appearing in Shanghai once again, XCMG Transmission is exhibiting a total of 8 core products. From gearboxes and drive axles to reducers, from new energy, super-large-tonnage mining machinery, and internationalized products to complete-set solutions... the exhibited products vary in type and function, but without exception they are all masterpieces crafted with ingenuity by XCMG Transmission and a concentrated showcase of the company's R&D strength.

As a national-level specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative "little giant" enterprise providing overall solutions for off-road construction machinery transmission systems to global users, XCMG Transmission focuses on developing core product categories such as gearboxes, drive axles, and reducers, achieving independent and controllable technologies for high-end transmission components including fully automatic electronically controlled gearboxes, wet drive axles, and high-torque high-performance reducers, advancing the localization of core transmission components, and supporting the development of host machines.

While accelerating domestic substitution, the company is also riding the waves toward destinations around the globe.

Walking into the machining branch factory of XCMG Transmission, one is dazzled by construction machinery transmission components of various shapes and diverse functions, as technical personnel busily assemble a batch of transmission systems destined for overseas markets.

"Currently the company's overseas orders continue to rise, and various transmission systems are very popular with foreign customers; in the Brazilian, Indonesian, and Saudi markets, sales are growing rapidly," introduced Shi Guoguo, Quality Director and Director of the Technology Center of XCMG Transmission.

Starting in 2022, XCMG Transmission entered a new stage of going global: deepening market cultivation.

In March of that year, the company established a joint visit team comprising marketing personnel, technical engineers, and service engineers. Over 16 days and 7,922 kilometers, they visited 11 key customers and 2 agents across four states in southwestern Brazil—Paraná, Santa Catarina, Mato Grosso do Sul, and Rio Grande do Sul—conducting on-site research on the adaptability of transmission systems under different working conditions.

"For three consecutive years, we have continued to dispatch overseas service personnel to host machine operations, gradually expanding external customer cultivation and striving to advance into the international market," said Lü Chang.

Today, the footprints of XCMG Transmission's service engineers and technical engineers have spread across countries including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Sierra Leone, Turkey, and the United States.

Real orders are the most convincing. Currently, XCMG Transmission's products are exported to more than 190 countries and regions, with overseas orders growing 30% year on year.

Behind the frequent appearances in the spotlight are XCMG Transmission's ten years of hard work.

Ten years ago, XCMG made a forward-looking layout for the key core components industry, sounding the charge toward high-end core components and import substitution. That autumn, XCMG Transmission was officially established, and thereafter witnessed all the way the ups and downs and progress of construction machinery core components.

"Since its founding, XCMG Transmission has been committed to leading development through innovation and driving change through science and technology, supporting the 'hard backbone' of China's equipment manufacturing industry," said Lü Chang. Over the past 10 years, as XCMG Group's various industrial segments advanced by leaps and bounds, XCMG Transmission built teams, tackled technologies, and constructed an ecosystem, accelerating its pace.

From "toddling" to "soaring high." Ten years ago, amid expectations and hopes, XCMG Transmission grew from nothing; today, XCMG Transmission has the manufacturing capacity to produce 100,000 units of various transmission components annually.

From "being constrained by others" to "breaking through difficulties." Ten years ago, China had a weak foundation in core construction machinery components such as transmission parts and was constrained by others. Today, XCMG Transmission has independently developed high-end transmission products including fully automatic electronically controlled gearboxes from 50 kW to 310 kW, wet axles from 6 tons to 31 tons, and complete-set high-torque reducers, and is the only domestic supplier with complete-set transmission system solutions.

From "empty pockets" to "abundant harvests." At its founding, XCMG Transmission's annual sales were less than 200 million yuan; today the company's main business revenue has exceeded the 1 billion yuan mark for three consecutive years.

The latest data shows that in the first three quarters of this year, XCMG Transmission's main business revenue and new-type transmission component revenue grew 3% and 20.43% year on year, respectively.
