The fully enclosed batching plant of Section 8 of the civil works, integrating high efficiency and environmental protection, perfectly combines these technologies, achieving enclosed management throughout the entire process from raw material storage to concrete production and effectively reducing noise and dust pollution.

At the construction site of Section 8 of the civil works, tunnel excavation generates about 1,700 cubic meters of construction wastewater every day. To solve the wastewater treatment problem, Section 8 of the civil works built a sewage treatment plant beside Adit No. 19, adopting the high-density sedimentation tank coagulation and sedimentation process to treat alkaline wastewater, thereby eliminating at the source the possible impact of production and domestic wastewater on the surrounding ecological environment. Over time, the cement road surface in front of the Xie Wan Community Residents' Committee had cracked severely, with potholes all over the road; after heavy rain, water pooled in the depressions, making the road conditions quite poor and seriously affecting villagers' daily travel. Section 8 of the civil works attached great importance to this, proactively integrated itself into the overall local development, shouldered the company's social responsibility, and quickly organized personnel, equipment, and resources to carry out comprehensive repair and upgrading of the road. Through the unremitting efforts of the project department, a broad, flat, safe, smooth, and brand-new asphalt road was created in Xie Wan Community, greatly improving travel conditions for 1,396 households and 6,830 villagers and enhancing their quality of life.

On the open ground of the Wushan Town Village Committee, the project department and the village committee jointly held an artistic performance, where the engineering builders and villagers sang and danced together like one family. Zhong Jigao, a villager from Sikeshu Village in Wushan Town, remarked with emotion, "Since the project came to our village, the roads have been repaired, the lights are brighter, it is more convenient for children to go to school, and it is much safer for the elderly to travel."
