Recently, the Zhihui Tower (high-end hotel) project of the Guangzhou Sino-Singapore Science, Technology, Culture and Art Center, undertaken by the South China Construction Company of China Construction Fourth Engineering Division, celebrated the full topping-out of its high tower, complementing the low tower that topped out earlier at the end of July. With this, a new landmark has risen in Guangzhou's core economic belt of the headquarters around Jiulong Lake, adding another new calling card to the Knowledge City.
According to reports, the Zhihui Tower project is located by the shores of Jiulong Lake in the Sino-Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, surrounded by clear waters. With the design concept of "the kapok, Guangzhou's city flower, and the orchid, Singapore's national flower, blooming together," it consists of high and low towers forming an industrial complex. The project as a whole embodies "world standards, Chinese grandeur, Greater Bay Area characteristics, and Lingnan charm," and is another landmark super high-rise project in the core area of the Knowledge City.
The project has a total land area of 14,300 square meters and a total gross floor area of approximately 134,000 square meters, including one high tower and one low tower as well as a commercial podium, underground parking garage, and more. The low tower topped out in July this year, with a building height of 112 meters and a floor area of approximately 37,000 square meters, comprising 23 above-ground floors and featuring 147 spacious guest rooms and suites. It has introduced Guangzhou's first Banyan Tree hotel, creating a diverse and interactive international Greater Bay Area high-end hotel.
The high tower has a building height of 192 meters, with 41 above-ground floors and a floor area of 56,000 square meters. Positioned as a Grade-A-plus office building, it will create regional headquarters for multinational corporations focusing on high-tech industries such as intelligent manufacturing and artificial intelligence, build the Guangdong-Macao University Knowledge City Innovation and Entrepreneurship Alliance and joint incubators, further amplify the叠加 effect of international culture and art and technological innovation, and help Guangzhou achieve high-quality development.
The reporter learned from China Construction Fourth Engineering Division that, in order to create a comfortable office environment and hotel living environment, the Zhihui Tower project follows the three-star green building standard, using BIM+ simulation and green building technologies to simulate and analyze the daylighting and thermal-humidity environment of the super high-rise building. By using perforated aluminum panels featuring Lingnan window grille patterns, it reasonably combines natural ventilation with the building facade, optimizes the facade shading technology, and innovatively applies intelligent lighting control systems and more, effectively building an efficient energy system for the building and reducing building energy consumption.
