Recently, Sinopec Oilfield Service Corporation (600871) issued an announcement that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Petroleum Engineering Construction Company, successfully won the bid for Sections 1, 4, and 5 of the main line construction general contracting project for the Hubei-Henan-Jiangxi-Anhui-Zhejiang-Fujian section of the Sichuan-to-East China Gas Pipeline Phase II project, with a bid amount exceeding 4.5 billion yuan. It is understood that the PipeChina Sichuan-to-East China Gas Pipeline Phase II project is a major energy infrastructure project of the national 14th Five-Year Plan and an important supporting project for building a hundred-billion-cubic-meter gas field and a ten-billion-cubic-meter gas storage facility in the Sichuan Basin. The Hubei-Henan-Jiangxi-Anhui-Zhejiang-Fujian main line project is an important component of the Sichuan-to-East China Gas Pipeline Phase II, with a total length of 1,260 kilometers. The Sections 1, 4, and 5 won by the company have a cumulative length of approximately 834 kilometers, including multiple station yards, valve chambers, directional drilling, crossings, and other construction items.
