CCTV.com News (Xinwen Lianbo): Statistics from the Ministry of Transport show that from October 1 to 7, cross-regional passenger flows across the country reached 2.003 billion trips, up 3.9% year on year on a daily average basis, with multiple transport indicators hitting record highs.

　　During the National Day holiday, daily railway passenger volume remained above 17 million trips, with 21.448 million trips recorded on October 1, a record high. Several new lines were put into operation, including the Huinong-Yinchuan section of the Baotou-Yinchuan High-Speed Railway, and the Yizhuang Station of the Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Railway was officially opened, making the extensive railway network increasingly dense and creating favorable conditions for convenient holiday travel.

　　During the National Day holiday, multiple indicators, including daily cross-regional passenger flows and road travel volume, also hit record highs. Road self-driving trips reached nearly 1.6 billion, accounting for 80% of cross-regional passenger flows, with tourist passenger flows showing notable growth. Civil aviation passenger volume totaled 16.096 million trips, averaging 2.299 million trips per day, up 11.1% year on year. A safe and efficient comprehensive transport system provided strong support for the large holiday passenger flows, demonstrating that a dynamic China is full of vitality and vigor.
