On September 26, the section from No. 1 cross adit to No. 2 cross adit of the Yiliang Tunnel on the Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Railway was holed through. With this, the exit end of the Yiliang Tunnel has surpassed 9 kilometers, marking a major breakthrough in the construction of the Yunnan section of the Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Railway and providing solid assurance for the safe holing-through of the entire line.

The Yiliang Tunnel, with a total length of 24.78 kilometers, is designed as a double-tube single-track tunnel. It is the longest tunnel on the entire Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Railway and one of the key control projects of the whole line.
