Since the commencement of the Fengma Construction Section 2 project, the project team has consistently kept a close focus on the annual key work objectives, adhered to standardized construction and refined management requirements, deployed scientifically, solidified responsibilities, and adopted multiple measures to steadily advance project production, continuously concentrating resources and sustaining a vigorous upsurge of intensive work, sounding the clarion call to strive toward the full-year construction tasks.
At the same time, multiple construction points along the entire line are operating simultaneously; braving the scorching sun and intense summer heat, undaunted by the high-temperature "trial by fire," with a pragmatic, hard-working, and persistent professional spirit and a sense of urgency that seizes every moment, they have pooled their efforts to set off a wave of vigorous and rapid progress.
Ensuring safety and building a solid safety protection network. By employing methods such as "safety production discussions for everyone," "pre-shift education," and "case-based legal education," construction personnel are organized to watch safety production warning and educational films and the "National Safety Open Class," among others, continuously advancing the "five entries" of safety publicity, constantly enhancing public awareness of risk prevention, safety emergency response, and self-rescue and mutual-rescue capabilities, and fostering a strong safety atmosphere.
Focusing on quality and building high-quality projects. First, UHPC ultra-high-performance concrete pads are used in beam and slab prefabrication to improve the pass rate of the protective layer while eliminating the marks left by beam and slab pads, further enhancing appearance quality. Second, high-quality release agents are promoted and applied, comprehensively improving the appearance quality of structures. Third, the frequency of testing and inspection has been increased, improving the timeliness and accuracy of testing and inspection. Fourth, in conjunction with the research topic "Study on Shrinkage Cracking and Performance Enhancement of High-Performance Concrete under the Dry-Cold and Dry-Hot Environment of Northwest China," drip irrigation curing is adopted for bridge deck paving to achieve long-lasting moisture retention, enhance the curing effect, and effectively control concrete cracks. Fifth, innovative construction demonstrates wisdom: the project department actively adopts the "four new technologies" to address common quality and safety problems, effectively control prominent issues and weak links, and enhance the quality of engineering construction.
Focusing on Party building and building a first-class team. Brilliant achievements are inseparable from a project management team that is united, collaborative, pragmatic, and enterprising. After the establishment of the project department Party branch, the project leadership team has had clear divisions of labor, supporting each other and actively communicating in their work, forming a sound collaborative mechanism of enduring hardships without complaint and sharing responsibilities in difficult times. In conjunction with project construction and with the purpose of "building quality projects," the project Party branch actively carries out activities such as "Party Member Responsibility Zones" and "Party Member Pioneer Posts," fully leveraging the exemplary and vanguard role of Party members and the positive energy of Party building, effectively advancing the smooth progress of all work.
Entering the third quarter, the Fengma Construction Section 2 project department has carefully deployed, set strict requirements, seized the construction schedule, and comprehensively advanced project construction; at present, all construction points are in the midst of intensive work. Subgrade clearing has been completed for 91% of the total design quantity; excavation has been completed for 92% of the total design quantity; subgrade filling has been completed for 87% of the total design quantity. Beam and slab prefabrication has been completed for 98% of the total design quantity, and beam and slab installation has been completed for 53% of the total design quantity; bridge deck paving has been completed for 21% of the total design quantity. Box culverts have been completed for 87% of the total design quantity.
In the near future, a broad thoroughfare winding at the foot of the Qilian Mountains will emerge, writing a brilliant chapter for our province's highway construction.
