2024年9月18日，布伦纳基线隧道H21标段Sill Gorge和H41标段Sill Gorge-Pfons实现了隧道贯通。据悉，H21标段连接了布伦纳基线隧道北端和因斯布鲁克中央车站；与此同时，报道称，TBM Wilma和Olga号将于下周在布伦纳基线隧道H53标段投入使用。
全长64km的布伦纳基线隧道在完工后将成为世界上最长的铁路隧道，隧道穿越阿尔卑斯山，连接意大利和奥地利，将福尔泰扎到因斯布鲁克的行车时间从80分钟缩短到25分钟，建成后将成为跨欧洲运输网络 (TEN-T)的斯堪的纳维亚-地中海走廊的重要一环。
