Beijing, September 25 (Xinhua) — The "2024 Digital Transformation Development Conference," hosted by the China Communications Standards Association, organized by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT), and supported by the China Communications Enterprises Association, was held in Beijing on the 24th. At the conference, CAICT released the "Top 10 Keywords for 2024 Government-Enterprise Digital and Intelligent Transformation" for the first time.

　　The ten keywords are: distributed computing power, enterprise-level AI, intelligent assembly, architecture and process transformation, smart operations, intelligent transformation and digital upgrading of central and state-owned enterprises, government "one cloud," government large models, "dual transformation," and digital native.

　　He Baohong, director of the CAICT Institute of Cloud Computing and Big Data, explained that under the wave of digitalization and intelligentization, carrying out comprehensive digital and intelligent transformation to break down business barriers and innovate service models is an inevitable path for governments at all levels and enterprises in all industries to embrace the digital era, adapt to comprehensive economic and social transformation, and continuously advance the "integration of the real economy and the digital economy." In the future, CAICT will continue to track and deepen research on the sub-sectors covered by the ten keywords, build communication and exchange platforms for all parties, and further promote industrial development.

　　Nan Xinsheng, deputy secretary-general of the China Communications Standards Association, said that a new generation of information and communications technology is driving digital transformation to go deeper and become more substantive: the policy environment continues to improve, core technological innovation achieves breakthroughs, industrial application is deeply integrated, and the standards system is constantly being refined. The China Communications Standards Association will continue to work closely with research institutions such as CAICT, as well as industries and enterprises, to support standards for digital transformation.

　　The conference also announced the results of the third "Dingxin Cup" digital transformation application solicitation activity and the latest batch of IOMM digital and intelligent transformation evaluation results, and provided a detailed interpretation of the IOMM Digital Transformation Development Two-Quadrant Model and the Real Economy-Digital Economy Integration Composite Index (2024).
