Hongmiao Village Tunnel Successfully Breaks Through

　　On September 12, the Hongmiao Village Tunnel of Section 4 of the Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou Railway, constructed by China Railway Shanghai Engineering Group Co., Ltd., was successfully holed through, marking important progress in the project's construction and laying a solid foundation for the smooth flow of the subsequent girder-erection passage.

　　The Hongmiao Village Tunnel is located in Shifo Town, Lezhi County, Ziyang City, Sichuan Province. It is designed as a single-tube, double-track tunnel with a total length of 210 meters, a maximum burial depth of 26 meters, and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. The tunnel portals are in the form of steep scarps, with strongly weathered mudstone exposed, and adverse geological conditions such as gypsum soil and weakly expansive rock are present. The surrounding rock is of poor grade, and safety risks such as dangerous rock and rockfall exist in the adverse geological sections. In response, the construction party strictly implemented standardized construction requirements, formulated a series of scientific and rigorous construction plans and advanced technologies, and flexibly adjusted and optimized the construction technical plans according to actual site conditions, adopting methods such as grouting reinforcement and rock bolt support to enhance the stability of the surrounding rock; protective nets and protective sheds were rigorously installed to effectively address the risk of dangerous rock and rockfall, ensuring that the tunnel construction process was safe and orderly, that data in all aspects met design requirements, and that physical quality reached standards.

　　At present, Section 4 of the Chengdu-Dazhou-Wanzhou Railway is seizing the golden autumn construction period, continuously strengthening construction organization, scientifically allocating construction forces, and going all out to advance construction production progress to ensure the smooth completion of the annual targets and tasks.
