Congratulations to Professor Zhu Hengyin on being honored with the "Hebei Provincial Science and Technology Cooperation Award" conferred by the Hebei Provincial People's Government.

In the "Announcement on the Industry Review Results of the 2023 Hebei Provincial Science and Technology Awards" issued by the Hebei Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Zhu Hengyin was honored with the 2023 Hebei Provincial Science and Technology Cooperation Award. He is the head of the science and technology special mission team of Hebei Yongming Geological Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd., a distinguished professor at Anhui University of Science and Technology, a National Model Worker, a National Moral Model, a recipient of the inaugural Craftsman of the Nation award, a National Outstanding Science and Technology Worker, one of the "Top Ten Most Beautiful Geological Team Members" in the national geological exploration industry, a "China Good Person," and an expert of the Xingtai City "Renze Think Tank."

Professor Zhu Hengyin enjoys special government allowances from the State Council and is the leader of the National Model Worker and Craftsman Innovation Demonstration Studio. Having worked in geology for forty-eight years, he loves his work and is courageous in exploration. He has achieved important results in drilling engineering technology, realizing manually controlled "navigation" drilling of kilometer-deep borehole trajectories and multi-branch drilling from a single hole. He has achieved multiple results in research on deep-hole drilling technical methods and applied them in geological prospecting. The domestically produced equipment he developed has set China's deepest record for small-diameter wireline core drilling in deep exploration, playing an important technical supporting role in promoting deep prospecting in China. The undisturbed sampling coring technology for complex strata that he researched has achieved good results in Shanghai land subsidence and Beijing land subsidence benchmark construction, scientific drilling, and other areas, yielding enormous social and economic benefits in geological and engineering technology applications. In cooperation with Hebei Yongming, he has undertaken the research and development of multiple major science and technology projects; among the more than 200 drilling rigs in the Karamay region of Xinjiang, the multifunctional drilling rigs produced have achieved remarkable results in drilling efficiency and quality.

Professor Zhu Hengyin is a well-known geological drilling engineering expert in China and has won the Li Siguang Geological Science Award and the National Innovation Competition Award. Eleven of his innovation achievements have filled domestic gaps, and he has won seven national and provincial/ministerial science and technology awards. The model worker innovation studio he led has obtained 28 national patents, published 3 monographs, and published more than 60 papers, cultivating a group of young technical talents, Jianghuai Craftsman pacesetters, winners of the Provincial May Fourth Youth Award, and skilled craftsmen of the Ministry of Land and Resources.

Anhui University of Science and Technology and Hebei Yongming Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. jointly established the Geological Society of China's "Mine Fine Exploration and Intelligent Monitoring Technology Innovation Base." At the same time, Professor Zhu Hengyin has been specially appointed as the head of the science and technology innovation expert special mission team of Hebei Yongming Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd. and as an expert of the Xingtai City "Renze Think Tank." He has also signed an industry-university-research cooperation agreement with Hebei Yongming Engineering Machinery Co., Ltd., providing a platform for the internship of undergraduate and graduate students and the training of enterprise skilled talents, providing technical support for enterprise development, and making contributions to Hebei Province's industrial transformation and upgrading, economic and social development, talent cultivation, and scientific and technological exchanges.
