Recently, the Sichuan Provincial Development and Reform Commission released information: from January to August, 300 major projects jointly built in the Chengdu-Chongqing economic circle completed an investment of 322.91 billion yuan, with an annual investment completion rate of 73.9%, exceeding the scheduled pace by 7.2 percentage points. Of the 37 newly started projects, 24 have already begun construction. Among them, modern infrastructure projects completed an investment of 191.95 billion yuan.

　　From January to August, an investment of 191.95 billion yuan was completed, with an annual investment completion rate of 68.9%. The Chongqing-Yibin section of the Chongqing-Kunming High-Speed Railway has entered the trial operation stage. The fourth runway of the Chongqing Jiangbei International Airport project has passed completion acceptance. The Saimamen Tunnel on the Kangding-Chongqing section of the Chongqing-Xi'an High-Speed Railway has been holed through. Construction of the head section of the North Main Canal of the first-phase, first-step project of the Xiangjiaba Irrigation District has been completed. Five projects, including the second phase of the Dazhou Gas Power Station, have started construction.

　　Modern industrial projects are being accelerated

　　From January to August, an investment of 101.67 billion yuan was completed, with an annual investment completion rate of 83.7%. The Sichuan-Chongqing Cooperation (Guang'an-Hechuan) Biopharmaceutical Industrial Park has been completed and put into operation. The factory buildings of the Mianyang Tianyishangjia Green Energy New Materials Innovation Industrial Park have been completed. The first-phase factory buildings of the Liangjiang Ganfeng New-Type Lithium Battery Technology Industrial Park have been completed, and the Pack project has been put into operation. The Jiulongpo Hydrogen Fuel Cell R&D and Testing Base has been completed and put into use. Ten projects, including the High-End Parts Intelligent Manufacturing Base for Aerospace Gas Turbine Equipment in the Deyang Economic and Technological Development Zone, have started construction.

　　Scientific and technological innovation, cultural tourism projects are being accelerated

　　From January to August, an investment of 15.34 billion yuan was completed, with an annual investment completion rate of 92.7%. The Western Region's first National Laboratory, the Jinfeng Laboratory project, has been completed. Three projects, including the Quasi-Axisymmetric Stellarator, have started construction.

　　Ecological and environmental protection, opening-up, and public service projects are being advanced in an orderly manner

　　From January to August, an investment of 13.95 billion yuan was completed, with an annual investment completion rate of 70.2%. The conventional buildings of the National Southwest Regional Emergency Rescue Center have passed acceptance. The first phase of the expansion project of the Yongchuan Minjin School at the Western Vocational Education Base has been completed. The main masonry construction of the hazardous waste project at the Yibin Resource Recycling Base has been completed. Six projects, including the Sichuan-Chongqing Yangtze River Basin Water Emergency Rescue Base, have started construction.
