Recently, the first secondary lining of the mine-cut tunnel on the entire Shenzhen-Nanning High-Speed Railway line was successfully poured at the entrance of the Xinzhong Tunnel, marking that the main structure construction of the tunnel group of the Shenzhen-Nanning High-Speed Railway project has entered a fast track of intensive construction, and also laying a solid foundation for the project to be completed and opened to traffic as soon as possible.

The first secondary lining pouring site of the mine-cut tunnel on the entire line

The Xinzhong Tunnel is a single-tube double-track tunnel located in Yuncheng District, Yunfu City, with a total length of 3,220.55 meters and a maximum buried depth of 217.7 meters. The Xinzhong Tunnel passes through one fault and six dense joint zones, and is characterized by poor tunnel formation conditions, high construction difficulty, and high safety risk. The first secondary lining poured at the entrance of the Xinzhong Tunnel this time is 12 meters long, with 160 cubic meters of concrete poured.

To ensure the safe and smooth pouring of the first secondary lining, the Zhuzhao Railway Company organized the promotion and application of standardized construction techniques and methods for secondary lining. On the basis of ensuring compliance with specifications and design requirements, through expert review and discussion, observation and exchange, optimization of construction organization, full-process monitoring, strict construction quality standards, and avoidance of risk sources and other multiple measures, it strengthened the standardized management of construction safety and quality, and ensured the smooth completion of the pouring of the first secondary lining of the mine-cut tunnel on the entire Shenzhen-Nanning line.

The Shenzhen-Nanning High-Speed Railway is a key railway project at the national and provincial levels, and is a major project for implementing the Outline Development Plan for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. After the project is completed, it will further strengthen and improve the transportation network between Guangdong and Guangxi.
