Beijing, September 4 (Xinhua) — The international symposium themed "Chinese Modernization and the Future of the World" was held in Beijing on September 3. As an important component of the Mindu Strategic Dialogue, the symposium focused on in-depth dialogue on the theme "Chinese Modernization and the Future of the World," jointly exploring the achievements, experience and global significance of China's further comprehensively deepening reform and advancing Chinese modernization.

　　Strategic academic figures from European and American countries and international organizations said that Chinese modernization has been continuously advanced through reform and opening up, always grounded in China's realities, and has deepened reform and innovation; its tremendous achievements command respect. They believe that a China committed to peaceful development and dedicated to reform and opening up will bring more opportunities to countries around the world. In the face of a turbulent and intertwined international landscape, strengthening dialogue and enhancing trust are particularly important. They expressed willingness to further approach China, study China and interpret China, tell well the story of win-win cooperation between China and the world, and contribute to promoting the common development of humanity.

　　The Mindu Strategic Dialogue is an international strategic academic exchange event hosted by Renmin University of China and organized by the Chongyang Institute for Financial Studies at Renmin University of China. Before the meeting, the delegation visited and conducted research in Shanghai and in Yiwu, Wenzhou and other places in Zhejiang, experiencing firsthand the development process and vitality of China's reform and opening up and Chinese modernization.
