Recently, the 97th Saturday consultation meeting on element guarantees for key municipal projects was held in three sessions, chaired respectively by Vice Mayors Zheng Jiukun, Chen Dong, and Yang Shanyong.
　　**The venue held consultations on issues existing in projects such as the Shengli Sluice Reinforcement Project in Taihe County and the Jihe River Regulation Project in Yingshang County. Zheng Jiukun required that, on the basis of ensuring project quality, the golden period of construction should be seized, and in accordance with the established time nodes, funds should be put in place as soon as possible and projects accelerated, so as to further improve investment returns.
　　The second venue conducted consultation and research on the construction progress of the first three batches of provincially initiated projects in Fuyang City and the investment completion from January to July. Chen Dong required that project construction progress be accelerated, the autumn golden period for project construction be seized, and efforts be made to generate more physical work volume; the statistics department should provide good guidance to ensure that all eligible items are counted and incorporated into statistics in accordance with regulations.
　　The third venue held consultations on the construction of sports parks across the city during the 14th Five-Year Plan period and on issues existing in education and health projects in Yingdong, Linquan, Funan, Yingshang, and other places. Yang Shanyong pointed out that, in line with the targets and tasks, local governments should step up efforts, relevant municipal departments should go to the grassroots and strengthen guidance, and project management should be improved by drawing inferences from one case to another, so as to promote projects to improve quality and achieve results as soon as possible.
