The reporter learned from the Tianjin maritime authorities that at 12:00 on September 1, the four-month summer fishing moratorium ended in the Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea waters north of 35 degrees north latitude, and more than 50,000 fishing vessels raced out to sea, beginning a new round of sea farming and fishing operations. The Maritime Safety Administration of the Ministry of Transport coordinated and dispatched the largest maritime patrol law-enforcement force in the north this year to continue carrying out the "escort fishing" operation, safeguarding the safe and smooth departure of fishing vessels.

It is understood that starting September 1, the Tianjin, Liaoning, Hebei, and Shandong maritime safety administrations jointly dispatched and deployed 3 large maritime patrol ships, 178 small and medium-sized maritime patrol ships, 2 maritime helicopters, 29 unmanned aircraft, and 283 law-enforcement personnel to conduct comprehensive inspections of key waters, focusing on monitoring areas where merchant and fishing vessels converge, promptly discovering and eliminating risks and hidden dangers of collisions between merchant and fishing vessels, and stopping illegal and non-compliant acts. In addition, the maritime authorities also adopted measures such as strengthening the roll-call verification of merchant and fishing vessels, broadcasting warning information and safety information, and implementing temporary traffic control to ensure the orderly navigation of merchant and fishing vessels.
On the day of the event, the Tianjin Maritime Safety Administration coordinated and dispatched 5 maritime patrol ships, 3 unmanned aircraft, and 87 law-enforcement personnel to carry out the "escort fishing" operation, conducting three-dimensional patrol law-enforcement operations including maritime patrols, aerial patrols, and electronic patrols in dense merchant and fishing vessel navigation and operation areas such as the port entry and exit routes, ship routing areas, and safe operation areas within its jurisdiction, tracking, discovering, investigating and handling, and correcting illegal and non-compliant acts in water traffic, investigating and rectifying hidden dangers of ship collision accidents, and maintaining smooth water traffic order.
It is reported that with the end of the summer fishing moratorium in the Bohai Sea, more than 300 fishing vessels from Beidang Fishing Port, Central Fishing Port, Caijiabao Fishing Port, Dashentang Fishing Port, Donggu Fishing Port, and others in the Tianjin Port waters have successively put out to sea, and delicious seafood such as swimming crabs, mantis shrimp, and various miscellaneous sea fish will "swim" onto the dining tables of residents and tourists.
