Recently, the Jinyuan Wulu Station of Section 11 of the Jiading-Minhang Line of the Shanghai Suburban Railway has achieved new construction progress: the main structure of Area 5 has been successfully topped out, and the foundation pit of Area 2 has officially begun excavation, marking the completion of all main structures in Phase I of the station and the start of foundation pit excavation construction for Phase II.

Jinyuan Wulu Station is located at the intersection of Cao'an Highway and Lexiu Road in Jiading District. It is an underground three-story island-type station with a total length of 250 meters, featuring 3 entrances and exits and 2 sets of ventilation pavilions. The main foundation pit of the station has an excavation depth of between 26.5 meters and 29.3 meters, adopting the open-cut sequential construction method and divided into 5 construction areas. Areas 1, 3, and 5 are for Phase I main structure construction of the station, which has now been fully completed; Areas 2 and 4 are for Phase II main structure construction of the station.

The Jiading-Minhang Line has a total length of 44.04 kilometers, passing through the two administrative districts of Jiading and Minhang, with 15 stations across the entire line and a maximum operating speed of 160 kilometers per hour. According to the plan, it is an important north-south main axis trunk line in the Shanghai Suburban Railway network, a major line connecting important new towns and transportation hubs such as Jiading New Town, Hongqiao Hub, and Minhang, and also an important component of the "Yangtze River Delta on Rails." After the project is completed, it will achieve interconnectivity with the Airport Link Line, greatly alleviate the collection and distribution pressure of the Hongqiao Hub, and become a new engine driving the economy of western Shanghai.
