Shenyang, August 28 (Xinhua) — At 21:00 on August 27, after 40 consecutive hours of day-and-night efforts, the flood-fighting and power-supply support team of State Grid Shenyang Power Supply Company successfully completed emergency repair work on the 10 kV main trunk line in Heishanke Township, Jianchang County, Huludao City, at Yangshudixia Village, creating favorable conditions for restoring normal power supply to the entire township.

Heishanke Township is one of the most severely affected townships, where the 10 kV main trunk line supplying power to the entire township was destroyed by floods. On the evening of August 25, the flood-fighting and power-supply support team of State Grid Shenyang Power Supply Company, having just completed emergency repair work in Suizhong County, received the task of repairing the main trunk line in Heishanke Township.

After a brief rest, the support team quickly headed to Jianchang County and entered the village at 5 a.m. the next day to survey the site. Upon arrival, they found that the repair area was heavily silted, the roads were very slippery, and the previous day's rainfall had made construction operations extremely difficult and safety risks high.

To ensure safe and smooth repair operations, the flood-fighting and power-supply support team of State Grid Shenyang Power Supply Company formulated a scientific repair plan, erecting poles and stringing conductors by crossing mountainous terrain and river channels from the north side of Yangshudixia Village, installing 43 poles and stringing more than 2,000 meters of conductor.

Because the river channel was largely washed away and the soil was saturated, erecting poles and towers was difficult and prone to pole collapse. After on-site discussion, excavators were used to increase pole embedment depth, and local materials were used to reinforce pole stability with sand and gravel from the riverbank, ensuring the smooth completion of the operation.
